ParticipantThanks. In all honesty, the stuff I'm writing now was only supposed to be a quick "flashback" but the more I write, the more I want to tell about Jaina and the characters. Once that's done, I'll jump forward 500 years.

Doesn't matter if the website is hosted in the United States. In technicality, that would make someone liable under U.S. law regardless of their country of origin. Furthermore, it's not really about the age of consent, many states in the U.S. have that as the age of 16, it is what is defined as a "minor" under Federal law and it how it pertains to works of artistic merrit vs works which maybe defined as not possessing artistic merrit. In U.S. Federal law, that age is 18.
I'm just saying at this will be the last time I post.
Anyways, I'm not trying go into legalize about all of this stuff and nor am I lawyer. However, I don't think the new posting rules are unreasonable. In the end, I think that most of us can say that it is better to be safe than sorry.
ParticipantI don't think that's it. If I had to hazard a guess, they look like they're in their early 20s. I figured that Lingster was referring to the more sexually explicit images.
You still have to be careful. 18 U.S.C. (law) discusses some these concerns. I believe there are also laws which deal with things which may be concidered "obscene". Of course, it depends on what people would perceive as "reasonable" in a court of law. As you know, not too many people are into female bodybuilding to begin with. Merge with that their perceptions of what "appears" to be young women (whether real or not hence the emphasis on "obscenity") engaged in questionable acts, and there may be a problem.
Aside from that, on the adult nature of the site, don't forget that there may be also be questions regarding accessibility to what may be considered "adult" material or themes.
In all honesty, and this is up to Lingster of course, I wouldn't mind Amaz0ns.com becoming a site which requires a "login" before accessing anything. This prevents the normal passerby from seeing ALL images unless they log in and allows moderators in house to clean up stuff without things being first broadcast to the whole worldor random browsers, when mistakes or misunderstandings occur.
As I said that's just me. A lot of forums already do this. *shrug*
ParticipantIn all honesty, I agree with Lingster. The women portrayed look really young and the fact that many of them are in school girl outfits adds to the perception that you're drawing underage stuff.
I know.. I know.. people will get pissed off at me and say "What are you talking about?! It's art!" but there should be a little more taste and selectivity. There ARE laws which address what types of artworks constitute valid artistic merit vs those which don't. Some of the depictions here, could be questionable.
In the end, what is the fascination with highschool teenagers?

3,980 years ago“Get behind the keep!” Reena Hardyan screamed from the large stone battlements which blocked Hellfire pass as rain and lightening flashed around her in the darkness, “We must not let Jaina’s army past! If she gets the fifth Star Stone, she’ll be able to unlock it’s power!” She reared her horse on it’s hind legs. “Go! Go! Hurry!”
Reena Hardyan, leader of the new nation of Ather, adorned in black chain armor which covered her chest, complete with helm, was beautiful as the lightening crashed around her. Her fair white skin, red hair, and green eyes watched as her army of 30,000 streamed behind the high walls of Hellfire keep. In the distance, she could hear the howling hordes of Jaina’s army as they marched in the mud, muck, and darkness upon the heals of the Ather army.
“Queen Hardyan!” a man rushed up to her horse where she was mounted.
“Yes, General Marten?” She answered as she kept her gaze focused on the distance. In between flashes of lightening she could see Jaina’s army approach. She looked down at him.“The Fourth Corp is still out there, they have 4,000 men left. They’re facing heavy attacks to the south and are doing a running retreat. However, Jaina’s armies are beginning to encircle them from behind. If we don’t….”
“Yes General Marten,” Reena said cutting him off, her green eyes piercing him. “I know, you take the First and Second Corp and man Hellfire Keep. Use the siege engines and catapults to hammer the enemy. Get the first oil trench ignited so we can block her advance. We’ll need the room . I’ll lead a charge to the Fourth Corp using what remains of the Third Cavalry and make our way back here. Have men mount the East door to let us in Hellfire when we return.”
“But my Queen… surely you won’t lead the charge yours….”
“Yes. I will. Do you think me weak General?” She smiled teasingly down at him as he looked up at her. He did a quick appraisal of her and noticed her muscular thighs, made visible by the clinging wet cloth of her black breeches, and the biceps and rippling muscles of arms which were bare and glistening in the rain.
He smiled up at her. “Surely not my Queen. Ride with strength.”
“To you as well my love. Keep my chambers warm,” she winked at him. “Third Cav! Form up and follow me! Ride with Strength!”
“Ride with Strength!” her army yelled as she spurred her horse in the direction of the embattled Fourth Corp, 1,000 horse rushing behind her.
“Ride with Strength, my queen,” General Marten whispered, “Come back safe my love.”
