Saw the movie, and I felt the same way about it as I did MoS, which was basically opportunity lost. I do not like these versions of Superman and Batman, more so the interpretation of Superman. But as for WW, I thought, Gadot did fine, from an acting part, its just that I can’t believe her in this role, and for me it is because of her body. I did not think she portrayed ‘Amazon’. By that I mean, she has the elegant part down, but when she shows up to fight, she has to look like she can hold her own, and I don’t think physically she can portray that. And it is not like there are not women around who can’t portray here properly, they just don’t seem to want to cast them. Honestly, I think until one of us break into the movie making arena, with some clout, we won’t see a satisfying version apart from fan films. So for me, I will default the the DC mantra of the Multiverse. These movies were just a different ‘world’ than what I was expecting, hopefully a movie from the ‘world’ I want to see will come around, lol.
Soooooooooooooo,..her extra “17lbs of muscle” didn’t get it done for you?
this is exactly what I’ve been saying from the 2nd time I saw MoS
I would not call her recent gain “extra”. 😆
CharlieParticipantThanks for putting that up, Iromulus. But I seriously cannot tell which pic is the “after”. I’ve watched this thing twice now and I don’t see a difference.
CharlieParticipantGilbert Hernandez (along with his brothers) are comic creator genius’s on a par with Alan Moore or Will Eisner. He recently put out a graphic novel called Girl Crazy that I would very much recommend. It as well as his brother’s God and Science both feature very strong and fit looking female central characters.
CharlieParticipantLooks like Europe is ahead of us Stateside in getting fit women in front of the camera.
CharlieParticipantShe’s more muscular than the Wonder Woman they got for BvS.
CharlieParticipantWhen some co-workers were watching this trailer at work and then asked me (the local comic book expert) if “that guy is the Joker, or Lex Luthor” you really can’t defend that performance. :silly:
Personally, I thought this was the Lex from the Batman ’66 TV series.
CharlieParticipantVery Nice! :woohoo:
CharlieParticipantWhere Monsters Dwell from Marvel comics. A Secret Wars spin-off that follows a pilot and passenger crashing into a lost-in-time jungle. After running from dinosaurs they meet a tribe of amazons. Very fit amazons. And one real muscled amazon.
P.S. A Women’s Pro Wrestling sci-fi comic featuring fit and muscular gals.
PDF VersionCharlieParticipantHere a better choice for that movie than the current one!
Yup, I have to agree.

Lingerie Fighting Championships
Best parts are :33 and :44 where two of the um, fighters flex their surprisingly larger guns then I thought a lingerie model would have.
