    Bernie Price was one of my favourites being a Brit too. I remember flicking through MuscleMag in the early 90s, in a Wh Smith’s and always lingering over the page where she was selling a selection of signed photos. Never bought any, however about 5 years ago, I left a message at a Uk forum saying that I wished I had bought a Bernie Price photo back then but couldn’t because I was a poor student. Bernie actually sent me an email saying that she loved my story, and to let her know my address and she will send me some. Her email also had her mobile number. I gave it a ring (to make sure it was her). It went through to voice mail. I was at work went to lunch and when I got back to my desk I had a message that a Bernie Price had called. I rang back and ended up having a 20 mIn call with her. She was lovely, she doesn’t lift anymore but the best bit was when she said that she doesn’t have 16.5 inch biceps anymore. We had a nice conversation about how big her biceps used to be. Another funny bit was I gave her work address to send her photos. She said that she would makes sure that it is labelled as private as she wouldn’t want any of my colleagues opening it up and seeing someone sending me photos of a “a big muscle lady”, her words. Thought you guys might like this….
