ParticipantHe actually posted one of my pics without asking me. 🙁 I wasn't to thrilled about that. I'm pretty lax with that kind of stuff I would just like a little notification. I wouldn't mind him posting all of my stuff (not like theres a lot of it) but it just appeared on the site. :-
This happened to me as well. I contacted Larry and he explained that another party had sent my work to him claiming it as their own. He compensated me for the work he used however I do wonder who the bastard is who that is misrepresenting our work as theirs.

ParticipantThank you so much CONDORMAN!! I always thaught John K's cartoon women were sexy, but that is how he should have drawn them! Do you know his character Dusty Gink-Bottom? She was a fave of mine, I'd love to see a dawing of her all muscular!!!
I don't know Dusty Gink-Bottom if you can show me what she looks like I'll give it a try.
nice interpertation of his style!
Do you have a style of your own?I don't have a style of my own. I feel my strong suit is anatomy but my skills lack everywhere else so I plagiarize other artists. I would like to do Flash toons and animate some stories I've had rolling around in my head but I need to practice more. Here is my first animation attempt from a while back http://amaz0ns.com/option,com_smf/Itemid,135/topic,4881.msg41706/#msg41706

ParticipantOverall, not too bad at first glance.
You probably wanna work on evening out the skintones, though; either giving her face a tan or lightening the body a notch or two, so it doesn't look like someone cut her head off and sewed it to an FBB's body – it still has a bit of semi-obvious "frankensteining" going on – my personal term for mismatched bodyparts in photoshops.
But, as-is, it's not too bad for a rough draft.
I disagree. I think both of these are very well done. The face is generally lighter than the rest of the body because of use of pro tan. However, I think that in these two pieces the skin color is matched incredibly well. In addition, the lighting source is evenly matched. I would bet if the artist used unknown subjects very few if any could tell that the pictures had been photoshopped.

Participanti cannot see it 🙁
when i click on links it charges a blank page :/The file is a pdf (portable document format) you will need adobe acrobat reader or some similar pdf reader to see it. This might solve the problem.

ParticipantI'm siding with Muffin Man on this one. I don't necessarily like the guy, but he made an observation. That's all. It wasn't nasty, it wasn't mean-spirited (whereas some of his other comments have been).
To me, the artist's reaction was worse … much worse.
smittyWhat are you muffinman's alter ego? Didn't you find any humor in my reply? Editing wikipedia and "Too White and Nerdy" Come on man! Pop culture references used as insults, that is better than the lousy picture that started this thread. You must not have watched the youtube video. Besides I looked at his previous posts and that is what motivated my reponse. In fact, I was just getting warmed up and had to hold back.
