I’m not much on the the effect of 3d art but your action does not have depth, she’s walking on a surface. not quite 3 -d enough in my opinion, try rotoscoping the backrounds.

You are right, I used a simple 2D background here. I didn’t have the time for more detail. That’s why I calll it a “simple animation”. Most viewers have only eyes for the protagonist anyway. 😉
