ParticipantShe is one of my favourites, too. I also suspect that she was turned away from BBing my the schmoes who don't know how to approach a lady and make "specialist" requests of someone who doesn't do that sort of thing. Best of luck to her. 😉

ParticipantSome people think the definition of "gaffe" is "a politician saying what he really thinks".
In many cases, I agree, but here, I don't think that's the case.

ParticipantI have to say… judging from that last picture, I think Cindy's current training regime – whatever it entails – is messing up her appearance. Her cute face has been getting very masculine with poor complexion. It might not be steroids. It might be the diet. I don't care what it is, but I think something in her training is not agreeing with her body. :/
Sad as I am to say this…I don't disagree. I think this really is the time for her to get professional advice. She has so much potential, and made such huge progress between 2005 and last year, but she has had injury and motivational problems, and I fear that she may not fulfil that potential.
I hope I'm wrong.

ParticipantShe has a classic type of face; one of the reasons, why I consider her as one of the best.
My thoughts entirely. 😉

ParticipantLingster will take Mrs. Palin over Mr. Obama any day. Muffin Man appears to have the opposite opinion.
Regardless, we (those of us who do, anyway) live in the United States, and our elected head-of-state is President Obama. Whether or not you like it is your own problem.
I'm beginning to understand why the word "Obama" was originally under the swear filter.
Michelle Obama's physique was brought into mainstream media attention, and it's my personal hope that, as she is First Lady, her fitness regimen (and, indeed, Barack's as well; I know he was in some health-related magazine) will inspire others to work out and maybe 'tone up' their own physiques, not only for the general health of the American people, but also because, well, I wouldn't be on this forum if I didn't find that sort of body attractive.
Disagree or agree with the politics, American women getting buff should be something we all agree upon, and should be the focus, IMO.
To add a tongue-in-cheek American political reference, quoting Cenk Uygur or the very Lib Young Turks: "Of coooouuurse!" ;D
Seriously, I think (and hope) that Lingster wasn't being entirely serious in his point with those videos. The President of your great land made a gaffe. The Governor of Alaska made several during the campaign last year. We all make gaffes.

ParticipantNot really a "debate".
It's one side with facts and one side flailing their arms and demanding their Magic Sky Daddy throw lightning at me.
Very funny, but I'm serious. This can only end in tears. ::)

ParticipantYou know, I was looking through some of her older pictures from her first shoots and she reminds me of Cate Blanchett for some reason, especially in the up-close shots.
Is that photo big enough LOL?! ;D

ParticipantI agree that the politics of this should continue via PM if required.

ParticipantSome nice suggestions, gentlemen! 8)

ParticipantI have no desire to make this one political – my points about the use of the "b-word" and not jumping to conclusions about someone until you meet them apply equally whether it's the First Lady of the USA or the school dinner lady. 😉
