ParticipantHrm, I just realized that I was drawing buff females before I was ever really trying to draw them. The explanation for that is easy, though. When I was learning about drawing and getting advice from other artists, nearly all of them suggested photo references for human anatomy. Some suggested x-rated magazines, but there was no way I was bringing nudie mags home, so I would get fitness and muscle magazines instead. And the women in those magazines, while still shapely and feminine, had clear muscle development and definition. The results, well…

ParticipantI had the pleasure of seeing her in person in an airport on my way back from the O this year.
Even more beautiful and a lot bigger in person. She was traveling with a MBB and she easily had an inch or so on him arm wise. She is planning on competing again in 2009 and I believe with the new judging standards in the NPC she has a great chance of doing extremely well.
New judging standards? You mean they're actually going to reward FBBers who look like women?! š® ::)
ParticipantI'm more concerned with the idea that she advises working out in 80 degree heat, which sounds dangerous. Sweating a lot doesn't mean you're losing weight, it just means you're losing water. Not only do you gain that weight back as soon as you drink water to rehydrate yourself, it's not really healthy to dehydrate yourself during a workout. You're already going to sweat if you are working out. And Paltrow suggests that if she didn't exercise so hard, she'd weight 300 lbs, which is highly doubtful given her genetics.
People will do some pretty unhealthy things in order to promote healthier living. ???

I miss both of them – I know I had run-ins with Pixxie, but I liked her feistyness.
ParticipantThe Mail has been dourly predicting the end of civilisation for decades. They're nasty, right wing and etty, and have long been a joke amongst all who aren't nasty, petty…etc. Yes, bad things are happening ATM – there are a lot of idiot chavs and useless layabouts around, but that has sadly been a British disease for a while now. For all their criticism and brickbat-throwing, things actually worsened during the 1980s when 'their' party, the Tories, were in power – the Brixton Riots spring to mind. Anyhow, the US is no better – trailer trash, anyone?
