That's why these days (w/ some notable exceptions) I'm generally more interested in uberbabe-buffed artwork renderings then most of what I see passing for the upper echelon FBBing contest types.

Well, I've now done the same.  I'm keeping the FBBers who really make me drool, as I do sometimes get a hankering for huge muscle, but I'm re-emphasising on Figure and strength athletes.

I'm delighted that we seem to be entering an era of Figure competitors who are properly buff – almost like FBBers were in the glory days before steroid use went ballistic and damaged the sport.  If this Figure trend continues, I may well reduce the FBBer contingent in my drool list, 'cos she is just about perfect size-wise in terms of not getting to that 'roided appearance that I'm really fed-up of now.

Still not offseason, though – some FBBers seem to try to kid their fans that they have no offseason, as if they think their fans always want to see them totally dry and shredded.

I think the looks have to do with age and a hard life od diet and workout.

Have you ever seen a farmers or ranchers wife that works the fields and such? They can look manly in many ways.

I hate to say it but the added chemicals that some bodybuilding gals might use must also play a factor in looks.

I think one factor is that Ms Linke-Sippl is almost always shown in contest or near-contest shape, and that can affect people's appearance.
