ParticipantThere's no need for you to leave. I was rather over-anxious to keep the discussion OT. We're a broad enough church to appreciate all shades of Amazon love. However, your attitude to this thread seems hostile, especially when Yatz and Lingster posted Gemma Atkinson muscle morphs. I understand that muscle isn't your thing, but there's no need to insult a morpher's work by likening it to "s******g on Da Vinci's original notebooks". I'm sorry, but what sort of reaction do you seriously expect? OK, you don't like muscle morphs – so what? Do what I do when a member eulogises about a female bodybuilder who I consider to be a steroid victim – just don't comment. Also, what was the meaning of accusing muscle morphers and those that like their work of helping to cause women's self-image problems? Are the works of people like jdm really on a par with the populist magazines' obsession with the Victoria Beckhams and Nicole Ritchies of this world? By accusing us of doing such a thing, you're effectively criticising all of those members who like female muscularity, which I would have thought must be a good 75% of us.
If Mimi and our moderators don't object, I'd be delighted to discuss the merits of the unmorphed chests of Ms Atkinson and several others here. Indeed, I had planned this evening to provide some images of the ample chest of Lucy Pinder. I'm just not prepared to have a squabble, which is why I really am now going to shut the hell up and leave this discussion.

ParticipantIn a strange twist of irony, the BBC's prime-time current-affairs programme yesterday evening (The One Show) revealed the shocking statistic that, in the UK, two women PER WEEK are killed by a current or ex-partner or husband. They also bemoaned the extent to which domestic violence is hushed-up and its prevalence denied. In the modern age, such 19th century attitudes are inexcusable. Then we see the attitude here: a place where women are venerated, and our members are still refusing to consider or mention domestic violence as the cause of Amanda's death. They'd rather point the finger at public servants being involved en masse in a conspiracy than they would discuss or acknowledge the simple fact of one evil bastard abusing, then killing Amanda. >:( It all gives a saddening insight into people's personal philosophies and attitudes. :'(

Participantkhuddle,I m going to suggest creating a new thread for that as it is a separate topic rather than piggy backing on this thread.
Good idea!

ParticipantI think I'll retire from this discussion. I'm at risk of making myself very unpopular. ::)
