ParticipantJust found this on the web, even though it's just about a year old. The article on this link makes me wonder just how close humanity really is to a real muscle growth drug. Hope this hasn't been posted before. This is the most updated news on this research I've found. Here's the link. Possible testing in humans: 2008!
Whoa there! As a postgrad student in a similar are of study, can I just add some perspective here? The drug will be tried in a small-scale trial in patients suffering from bone wastage. It will assess the safety and general efficacy of the treatment. Even as a bone-enhancer in cancer patients it's probably 8-10 years from being a commonly-used therapy. Then you have to consider the related myostatin inhibitor (of which many have been tried, almost always without success) which will take longer still, even if it works. One buff bull does not an FBBing revolution make! ::)

ParticipantKristy Hawkin's is the equivalent of Bruce Banner in my book, without the mental baggage. She's a brilliant researcher who could probably invent some kind of gene therapy to make her more muscular. (Not that she needs it) But she's brilliant and beautiful and that's just simply sexy.
Devastatingly sexy. 8)

ParticipantI must confess that I don't toe the party line on vascularity. It's impressive, no doubt, but I find too much to be distracting. I suppose it goes with contest shape, and I prefer offseason curves. 8)
Ms Freda is, however, gorgeous. 😉

ParticipantThis is a long-time favourite of mine, so thanks old chap for posting it. Kristy has been a favourite of mine for a long time in a cute, girl-next-door-who-happens-to-be-a-fellow-research-student-and-huge-FBBer way.8)

ParticipantGreat stuff KTM! I'm missing your old avatar, though. It seemed to fit your screen name so well and was very easily recognised and distinctive.

ParticipantAstonishing development for one so young. I also like the photo with her wearing the heeled workboots – I'm wierd, I know, but I love the way the really big ladies look when they wear really mean, purposeful boots. I love women in heels, but a reaaly thickly-muscled FBBer often looks unbalanced and out-of-proportion in skimpy stilettos, IMO. Plus, the main role of heels is to emphasise the calves…not really necessary in Belle's case. ::) ;D

ParticipantI think so, too. 🙂 Or at the very least, I hope she returns to TV one day. I first saw her during the glory days of the Fitness America Pageant several years ago, and I was hooked on her (and the entire world of female muscle) ever since. 😀
Thanks Julie for getting me hooked on as a fan of the industry!!!
I suspect most of us had a similar experience when a particular competitor attracted our attention. For me as a relative newcomer to this wonderful world of femuscle, it was Cindy Phillips who first got my attention. 8)

Participant;D It's mah 31st today…yay me…
Happy birthday Sammi! I was going to do a birthday post for you a little later – you weren't forgotten. 😉

ParticipantShe can save me anytime. 😀
Me too! I've not hear of her before, but I'm liking what I'm seeing. Femuscle always looks good when poured into tight latex. 🙂

ParticipantNo such thing as "Too Tall" ;D 😮
Well, arguably there may be once you get past around 50 feet, but I won't argue. 😉
