Anyhow, as we seem to be entering the realm of ad hominem attacks against whole groups, let me observe that Lingster exhibited the typical right-wing tendency of supporting efforts to silence critics:

Luckily this time we're on to it in advance, and it's not working.

rather than addressing the core problem.  Why spend money helping the schmucks who enlisted when you can spend it discrediting your critics to prevent public discourse? ::)

I wasn't born in the 1970s, let alone politically-aware, but count me as one Liberal who will not hear a bad word said about the motives of our armed forces (US or UK, it matters not).  I do not associate myself with those who call the military "baby-killers".  US troops were undoubtedly in highly-stressful, traumatic conditions both in Vietnam and Iraq.  I personally am convinced that they were sent there by their leaders for the wrong reasons.  It is against those politicians that I direct my anger, not the troops.  Please do not lump me in with extremists who said these things – you, Lingster, have a nasty habit of putting words into the mouths of those whose political views oppose your own.  >:(

All I know is that veterans were abandoned because the politicians didn't have the guts to admit to their mistakes and failings, so they swept them under the carpet.

As far as I've heard, Arnold has admitted taking steroids – during the period in which they we legal. When they were illegal he stopped taking them. Considering their illegality, one can only expect so much honesty.

The article was very interesting, though!

Er Fett – Ahnold spent years in La-La Land, and is now a politician.  Not exactly the best background to expect honesty to come from.

If she starts baking commercially, she'll have to put a disclimer on the packaging to state that eating her cakes won't make you as buff as her! ;D

It's a moot point.  I've had a similar response to AlexG's reaction to Drorit Kernes, but with me, it was with Sarah Dunlap.  I find it sad that I react in that way, but it is something that grabs my attention and puts me off someone.  Of course, a naturally sultry voice is hot, too (I'm thinking Debra Haley (BTW, where has she gone?) and of course Gina Davis) but there's nothing to me as cute as the contrast between the immense body of Nikki Fuller and that soft, high-pitched voice of hers.

Been wondering about something, her voice.

Anybody seen some older vids where her voice was not that deep?
I seem to remember her sounding different.

I mean, I kinda like her voice, but it is deep, kinda sultry if anything I suppose.  Which reminds me of a topic I have wanted to bring up in other forums.

Interesting point you've raised there.  I've noticed a pattern in videos of her in which her voice deepens around contest time, and raises during the offseason.

They do it because, believe it or not, the Right seems to have no clue that he is a satirist.

Remember when they invited Colbert to speak at a function for the president? And he had to keep stepping it up so they'd get the fact he was actually MOCKING them?

Reminds me of Reagan praising Springsteen as an American Hero because of Born in the USA when, in fact, the lyrics spoke of Springsteen's shame at how his country had treated Vietnam war veterans, something that I fully expect to be repeated once the Iraq war finally limps to its end.

Admit imperfection?  I don't think he's capable of that.

Is it perhaps because he can't tell the difference between Ahnold the BBer, The Terminator, and Ahnold the man/politician? ;D
