Yeah, couldn't agree more, and I liked the Bathurst reference.

To be honest, I think they've done a good job with the guys. Good variety of physiques, and personalities and that guy in the middle is an absolute monster.I just wished they had shown the same variety with the chicks, instead of them all looking like blonde, barbie dolls.

Ah, them were the days of the uberbuffed She-Hulkie, unfortunately it looks like we're coming into a period of soda-straw armed She-Hulkie, at least by way of the cover of #29, due out in May '08.  8)

What the hell is the point?  I know litle about comics, but I do know that She-Hulk is supposed to be, well…a HULK.  That cover shows her with arms no bigger than Evangeline Lily (who is hot, but not exactly massive).

As I said, I'm not 100% certain, but I'm strongly inclined to suspect that a couple of them (that one in particular) were Photo Shopped to some degree.

This is especially suspicious when you compare them to the others in the photo shoot, which do seem to be legit examples of her physique.  It's hard to imagine her arms/shoulders bulking up as they do, the mass just doesn't appear to be there for it to happen as its portrayed.

Thing is, if its the case, there's no need for them to be doing this, she's awesome in her own right.

I too suspect that that photo has been altered, and I agree totally with AlexG – why feel the need to manip Valentina?

I appreciate the attempt, but the words of this sentence do not enlighten me.
I did check her IMDB, the only thing I recognized was her (small) role in Stardust, where all she had to do was look pretty and act like an entitled jerk.  Hopefully she's got enough acting range to make the Baroness a very different character.
At any rate, it would be great if the movie called for a toned-to-buff version of the Baroness, and if the actress seriously worked out to get some solid size for the role.  It's hard to tell, but it sadly doesn't seem like anything like that has happened.

Not sure I could pick who was hotter, the wife or the stripper… at that point it would be either who looked better in person, or personality… of course I would have to choose for personality even if I liked the looks of the other… guess I could get by with the uglier of the two… yeah, I think I could suffer through it somehow.  ;D
