ParticipantDon't know for certain on that, but I would assume that would have to be the case.
The only bio info I have on her comes from two differing issues of WPP and WPW, she was 20 (in 1990) coming from Barcelona when she competed @ the WABBA '90 European Championships and caught the eye of Steve Wennerstrom and John Nafploitis for Women's Physique Publications Magazine.
Weighing in at 122 pounds, she was on the short side, standing only 4 feet 11 3/4 inches tall in bare feet.
She competed again a year later @ European Championships – WABBA '91, and World Championships – WABBA '91. After that she dropped out of sight.

With historical knowledge like that, who needs Steve Wennerstrom?! ;D 😉 Reminds me of a gentleman who will almost certainly be unknown to every other member here – Doug Nye (strangely, he's known as DCN, as opposed to our own DCM).
C'mon, guys and girls – without the use of any internet search engine, I challenge you to correctly tell me who Mr Nye is… ;D 😉 I'll be dumbstruck if anyone can. 8)
Anyway; back OT; gorgeous lady and a loss to the sport.

ParticipantJust posted yesterday (Sunday, February 10, 2008) on her blog page,
a vid-clip of Super Cindy flexin' away on stage. 😮 ;D 8)Very nice! Good to see a short snippet of Johanna too. I look foward to Cindy having the time to produce a more interesting routine; it's one of my bugbears with the modern scene that the routines are not as sopectacular as once they were. I wonder whether it's weakness caused by the extreme depletion required nowadays?

ParticipantHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH! Good luck, man. 😀
Indeed!
BTW, have you answered the question, Fett?

ParticipantA few, actually do it because they actually find it enjoyable, and aren't looking to make any money off it – and when it loses its fun-factor, they drop out.
This last, I'm given to understand, by someone reputedly who personally knew her, was the case with Denise Hoshor. She only competed for the fun of it, and not for any idea of making money from bodybuilding.
She probably had the right idea.

ParticipantI think I went a bit overboard in calling Kris one of my favourites. She's definitely in the list, but I'd possibly say that favourite status is a little over-optimistic. Still, my response to AlexG's question is still the same – Nikki and Kris – I'd have to be an idiot to say anything other than YES PLEASE! 8)

ParticipantMan, that's one heck of a posedown! Ertunc Kernes and Bass! Man how I miss the old days
As one of the commentors says under the vid – three beautiful women, not just beautiful for a bodybuilder. 8)

ParticipantNo he's just stating the fact, women's body building is not as lucrative as men's bodybuilding. As much as some women may love building their muscular physiques, not being paid as well as their male counterparts is very discouraging.
Oh, I agree, your tone just seemed very weary, that's all. I've often wondered whether there's a way that people like me, who cannot attend shows, can help increase the pr0ize money, or whether it must come from the governing body.

ParticipantWhoa! Gruesome! 😮

ParticipantSometimes, we can find the most attractive things in the most evil of entities. If this weren't true, killers like Ted Bundy wouldn't have been so successful in their carnage.
I had to come up with a threat that would challenge Lillyia and Craig. Unlimited physical strength used with no remorse was the best I could think of. I knew my choice might not be popular with listers, but I had hoped Lillyia's graceful and elegant power would more than make up for it.
No criticism implies Sir. I was impressed that your writing was able to cause such feelings. Lilyia definetly more than compensated – your write her as such a poised lady. 8)

ParticipantWell I'm late on this one, but here it is anyway…

Nice morph!
