ParticipantAh, the Daily Mail is such a joke… that story has been around for months and even before that, it was considered possible some years ago that it would be possible to use two eggs to create a viable embryo.
So, yes – men are pretty much unnecessary.
You only need to watch Have I Got News For You to get an idea of how sensationalistic the Mail is these days.

Well, many people object to the use of embryonic life for stem cells in the treatment of illnesses such as cystic fibrosis, Parkinson's etc., so this is an alternative. Might I point-out that many of the objectioners are American Christians?
As for the idea of using bone marrow stem cells to let same-sex couples have kids; well, that it more contentious.
