    I doubt it will be sensationalist, though the fact that it's a show hosted by a psychiatrist means that there is an assumption of dysfunction.

    I've met Shelly Yakimchuk, who's appearing on the show, and she strikes me as emotionally healthy, socially competent and articulate.  Some people may think Shelly's muscles are freaky, but no one's going to walk away from a conversation or an interview with her thinking that Shelly is a freak.  She's a nice, friendly person.

    However, at least one of the other female bodybuilders appearing on the program is an emotional train wreck who appears to me to have engaged in long-term abuse of steroids and androgens.  I expect the discussion with her will follow from an implicit assumption that she is damaged.

    As long as there was one participant who's reasonably sane, I suppose we can't grumble.  What I feared was that this guy would use his position to conclude that any woman who wants to build muscle is insane and that it's wrong, unnatural, deviant etc.  That would do a lot of harm if it happened.  I hope that wasn't the case – did anyone here get to see it?

    No – it really is "fantasy wrestling" in the same sense as "fantasy football", "fantasy baseball", etc.

    I was surprised at some of names being mentioned, so I'm not surprised, just a little disappointed.
