Another Brit – blimey, for a little country we do seem to have a lot of femuscle fans around!  Nice sketch, by the way – strangely enough, my favourite part (although the muscles were great) was the tail. 🙂

I can't get over how hot her abs are in the third photo.  Or her arms in the fifth.  Or her lats in the seventh.  Heck, let's just say that I'm in awe of the odd-numbered ones. ;D

Fishnets, miniskirt, corset, muscles:  mmmm muscles….mmmmm….!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry, drifted off into a reverie there. ::)  You already know that I normally don't like the hugely proportioned art, but you have a way of adding mindblowing mass to your characters while keeping them X-rated sexy. 😉  Please keep doing just that. ;D

No, it's not your fault…I mean, look how we bastardized Bodicea. "BOO-dee-kah"! 😀

Actually, the bastardisation was British.  :'(  Some academic re-read an old text, and realised that that earlier academics had mis-read the spelling of her name.  The new accepted spelling – Boudicca – IS indeed pronounced Boo-dee-kah.  The reason that I hate it is that it sounds to much like boutique to me – too frilly and flouncy.  Bodicea (pronounced Bo-de-cea) sounds much more Amazonian and heroic.

Annie Oakley?! ::) Man, we suck.

Sorry, have I forgotten anyone important?  I usually pride myself on my knowledge of US history, but I may well have erred.

Yes!  At last a response!  Thankyou Cowprobe. ;D  Unfortunately, I'm the dimwit here, because I can't pretend I understood all your cultural references – I don't know whether Ayn Rand is as well-known here in the UK as in the US.  I certainly understand and agree with the main points you made, though.
As far as this quote is concerned:

Is the essential cultural sin here not being interconnected enough? Not part of the technocrats? Sophistication suggests complexity and the more convoluted a structure the harder it is to maintain without specialized knowledge. Perhaps some deeper resentment at the pleasure addicted millions that provide barely cognizant fuel for the economy?

I think you've found my snobbery bone.  I'd be the first to agree that many British people are also acting as unthinking, short-sighted consumers, but, because we're part of a larger whole (the EU) and because we're only a small group of islands anyway, we tend, I think, to be less insular than many Americans, who, by dint of the vast size of the US, seem utterly ignorant of anything that lies outside of its borders.  Above anything else, I just found it hysterically funny, but yet very thought-provoking, as you said.

Thanks Alex.  The decision was a family one, although my parents were ultimately the ones who had to take it (yes, I'm afraid I'm one of those slightly pathetic guys who lives with his parents – my disability is my excuse).  Having said that, we were all in unanimous agreement – she was very ill and in distress, so really, there was only one reasonable option.

Some very sad news for me to report – one of our family's two beloved cats had to be put to sleep earlier today.  She had recently developed a hyperthyroid condition, but that turned-out to be masking kidney failure.  To see her slowly wasting away was absolutely heartbreaking, and we're all very subdued at the moment, as you can understand.  My posts to Ama0ns, therefore, might lack something of their usual enthusiasm for a few days. :'(
