ParticipantVery nice choice, Sir CPBell . . . and say what! You've not heard about her until now . . . perish the thought! 😮
Actually, she was upcoming on my list – but you've saved me the effort. Salute! 8)
Thanks for the kind compliment, Alex – I'm slowly learning. I'm glad that you don't feel that I stole your thunder – I just found her by accident, as I say, and, after ogling the photos on her site for an unhealthy length of time, 😉 I decided that I had to babble to someone abouthow smitten I was… 8)

ParticipantIf most are as Jon suggests, then I at least know of (although I don't know her myself) one exception, as do many of us here: Isabella aka Ms Machine. Having visited her blog many times, I'd say Cindy Phillips is quite a genuine person as well.

ParticipantFinally sat down and took the time to check that out.
Her smile, personality… and yes, her power. Role model all the way.
To paraphrase StrongBad… "Now that's what I'm talkin' about! That was amazing… I mean she… I… I can't b—… Chi-g-d-b … He—g …"
"… if we ever meet, I'm buyin' her a pizza!" ;D
The world would be a better place if teenage girls looked-up to Kara rather than the Nicole R******s and Lindsay L****s.

ParticipantHysterical envy, eh?! Not far off…! ;D

ParticipantIt's good that you're approaching this fandom from the "classics" (accidentally or otherwise)! I don't think there's ever been any female physique athlete with finer lines.
What, no "flailing"? Don't hurt yourself! ;D
Not my area of expertise or usual point of reference for priapic reverie, but there's no denying greatness.
Thanks for the support, Grandmaster! I actually came across her a few hours ago whilst browsing on BodyBuilding.com's forums. What a lucky hit, eh? 8) I've never come across the use of the word flailing (by which I presume you to mean self-flagellation) being used in conjunction with gnashing of teeth before. Perhaps it's a British thing (I think you're from the US – am I right?) I must admit I had to look "priapic" up in the dictionary – it's always nice to be able to expand one's vocabulary, especially relating to non family-friendly topics! 😉
As far amy use of the term Valkyric, (which I don't think exists, to my surprise; can't there be a word meaning "to have the properties or characteristics of a Valkyrie"?) I chose it because of Anja's other-worldly quality and her blonde, Aryan (don't panic – they were a race of people way before the hateful National Socialists became fixated on them – I am as anti-Nazi as anyone) looks seemed to suggest a link with Norse folklore (and great classical music) more than it did to more latin-influenced trains of thought and descriptive inspiration.cpbell0033944
ParticipantOh, did you have a bad experience with her? ???
I was about to ask something similar, and I did . . . 8)
Alex – great minds evidently think alike!
cpbell0033944
ParticipantThey really should drop the "R" in her last name.
Jon
Eh!? Do you have any first-hand experience to back that up? Or did you get out of the wrong site of bed when you wrote that?
cpbell0033944
ParticipantAny links for further info?
Surely a much better way of bringing Wonder Woman to the big screen, don't you think?
cpbell0033944
ParticipantOhh yeah, she was so cute…

Too true, ze fly – I naively thought that, back then, way before I had any interest in such things ( :'(), the ladies weren't as feminine as now. Don't know what made me think that -I suppose I thought that 1980s = excess in all things, including steroids and the like. :-[ Fortunately, I was WRONG! 8) :-[ Another classic cutie – thanks Alex!

Participant… or the outfit… ;D

I think it's those fishnet-like sections down the legs that do it for me – she is apparently most proud of her legs, and, thanks to that outfit, I can see why! 😮 8)
