Thanks Alex – unfortunately, I can't read Portuguese, as although it's very similar to Spanish, it has been 10 years since last studied Spanish, and to say that I'm rusty would be a masterpiece of understatement.  That second photo you published the link to, though – how stunning is she?

Just an update on the comments for this video – one brave guy (possibly a member here on Amaz0ns) dared to speak up and say that he found Cindy attractive.  So guess what one of the Homo neanderthalis commenters wrote?  Yep, that's right, the only cliched remark that hadn't appeared when I first wrote about this:

Fett – I did try to post a reply to your views on Britt, but I must have accidentally deleted it.  Having done more extensive research, it seems to me that Britt was very beautiful up until about 1 year ago, but that since then, her jawline has squared-off and her voice deepened… 🙁  Whilst I hope that my suspicions are incorrect, one view of a YouTube video of Britt at the age of 19 working-out, with her very feminine face seems to confirm my fears about her (by the way, this video also suggests that she is, in fact a natural brunette).  I suspect that, given that in the video I mention she was decently muscled for a 19 year-old, but obviously wasn't as big as a competitive middleweight BB, she got too greedy and tried to speed-up her muscular growth.  She is only still very young, of course (22 by my calculations) which makes her around a year younger than her friend Cindy; however to my eyes, she looks quite a bit older due to things such as the squareness of her jaw. 
I'm sorry if this post offends Britt fans, but that's my highly personal take on her.  I still think that her physique is mightily impressive, but my doubts about how she's achieved it mean that she has to move from my "Goddess" list to my "highly impressive physique" list.

Sorry Alex – I know it's sacreligious to say this, but if I whisper it nobody else might hear ;D – Britt doesn't "do for me" what the others do, if you know what I mean (turns in badge with tear in eye :'()  She's definitely in my "physiques that I admire" range, but, somehow she's not quite in my Goddess/babe list.  To tell the truth, in some of her photos she looks a bit lantern-jawed to me.  As a more experienced fan of ladies with muscle, what would your views on her from a "geared" point of view be?
Sorry if my failure to rate Britt with the others, and questions about drugs etc. cause distress, but it's just my personal take on something that is very subjective anyway.
As far as Heidrun goes, if the first site you linked to is free, I might consider signing-up, so thanks for that.  Unfortunately, although I studied French to our British A-Level, which is from the ages of 16-18 (sorry, I don't know what the US equivalent qualification is) and German and Spanish at school to GCSE level (school-leaving qualification at 16), Icelandic wasn't one of the options! >:( 😀 ::)  I've visited her blog, and to me the words look utterly unpronounceable (and if you've studied German as well then you'll know that I'm not averse to grappling with lengthy, consonant-heavy words)!

OK, I've now just finished reading the post "Syringe Madness" and I get what the writer is trying to say. Having seen some photos of competitions where the ladies looked 'odd' to my inexperienced eyes, I now know what I was seeing – quick-fix"chemical" muscle – the result of a certain amount of laziness and too much gear too quickly.  Strangely it also seemed to be those ladies that looked the most square-jawed that had this "plasticine muscles stuck randomly and awkwardly on a stick figure" appearance…
All of this reminds me about one of the first websites that told me that muscular women seemed to me to be very attractive; namely Stacey Rae's Blog (to find it, go into blogger.com and type a search for "Her Muscle Fetish).  She, as a working wife and mother took around 2 years to go from a plump, out-of shape 29-year old to a strong, muscled, sexy 31-year old.  Although I can't guarantee she didn't take steroids, the fact that every twist and turn of her journey was chronicled by her in agonising (and very humourous) detail suggests not.  The end result is that she is now working training people in the gym that she works-out in, and, more relevant to this discussion, she has full, curvy, mature-looking muscles that fit her frame and make her one very sexy lady.  She, actually, should be added to my "Goddesses" list, although she is a legend only for a relatively few loyal blog-readers (myself included) and her family.

Wow Alex – I've now read a couple of her treatises, and my eyes have been opened VERY wide.

a./ I didn't know steroids were illegal in the US.  I don't know whether they are here unless prescribed by a GP (Medical Practitioner, I think, is the US term closest to a General Practitioner), but it would make sense if they were.

b./ I had heard of many of the side-effects, particularly those to do with androgenic changes (am I using OK terminology?), but some did catch me by surprise.

c./ Are you inferring, by saying:

that even a competitor in a "Natural" contest who is known for being drug-free actually possibly (or probably) does use steroids to a degree?  Wouldn't that violate the point of the competition itself?

d./ Without being clever enough to wait for your reply to this message :-[ ::), it seems to be as though we're not dealing with black & white, but rather with a spectrum of infinitesimal shades of grey, leaving each one of us that enjoys female muscle to decide where on that spectrum we draw the line of what we find attractive based on the effects on appearance in each individual case.  In other words, some FBBs whose photos I've seen look to my inexperienced eyes to be geared-up to their foreheads, whereas I find someone like Becca Swanson, Jill Mils etc., to still be feminine although I can't say that I find either lady gets me drooling and thinking "Wow, what a babe" in the same way as a Cindy Phillips, Jody May or Trina Gillis, or for that matter the aforementioned Ms. Sigurdardottir 😉

AlexG – I have seen footage on Youtube and photos elsewhere of Denise Rutkowski (quite a lot of it of mixed wrestling in which she completely overwhelms the schmoe), and her physique certainly impresses.  My only qualm, though, is that her voice seemed very deep.  I hope I don't offend anyone by asking this question, but do you know if she was known to "juice", as I understand its called?  I certainly don't mean to offend,  :-[  I'm still learning and am not yet sure that I can tell from watching video footage whether an fbb was using steroids or not, although she was certainly attractive and feminine-looking, so I'm hoping not.  Thing is, steroid use, for me personally, is a big turn-off.  She certainly seemed to have a genuine, warm personality, though, so she definitely must be considered to be up there in amongst the greats, but I'd just like to hear from those who know better than I do that she was "natural" (or as close to it as makes no difference), and I'll certainly put her in my list (perhaps a new "Golden Oldie Goddesses" list is needed!? ::)
