That left-hand photo is my (sometime) desktop picture – that's the one I would show to anybody who says that fbb's aren't feminine or sexy.  The Amazon Princess looks particularly sexy in that one (and that, from a besotted fan, is really saying something).  As her namesake, the actor Leslie Phillips used to say in British films of the 50's and 60's when his character saw an attractive girl "Phwoar, ding-dong!" 🙂

Don't mention it – I knew that I had to share it with Amaz0ns members when I read it.  Funnily enough, although it was on a religious website, I'm a biologist and atheist.  I just happened to read it, had much the same "wow" reaction as you did, and thought "I wonder what the lads and ladesses on Amaz0ns will think of this".

I've already come across this rant being discussed by some buff fitness ladies (and others) on one of their LiveJournal entries:

They were universally of the opinion that the writer has some serious hang-ups, particularly to do with the "I won't flex, but I will wear tank-tops that show off my arms" bit.  The one who posted it as a topic for discussion ("crasch") was also scathing about the reference to combat technique in point # 6.  I seem to remember that her view was that the poster was "…just pathetic." ; :-X
I have to admit, I agree with the critics.  If she's so proud of her muscles, why won't she flex?  I particularly liked the comments of "gentlemaitraisse" and "nelliebellie" – there's something weird going on here.  I bet that if one of us was lucky enough to bump into Trina Gillis, Cindy Phillips or Steph Park, let alone Ms. Machine, who we know loves showing-off ;D, they'd flex and laugh at us as our mouths dropped open and we started drooling (OK then, just me for the drooling 8)!
Seriously though, I wonder what everyone else on here thinks?

Hi, I agree 100% with what you wrote.  Those comments are inutterably rude, and, for my money suggest that the commenters are insecure themselves.  This often seems to be the case – those who need to make themselves feel better often seem to do it by demeaning other people.  I can accept that not everybody is "ready" mentally to see a muscular young woman like Cindy as our society teaches that women are supposed to be frail and delicate 🙁 >:( (although I can't agree with this, both because I love muscular women and because I am pro-feminist).  However, to write what they have written is simply inexcusable.  If Cindy or anyone who personally knows her happens to be reading this, then I am sorry that my posting this caused any upset, but I wanted to highlight the ignorance and prejudice that still surrounds female strength and bodybuilding.  I think that Cindy is one of a handful of stunningly beautiful, inspirational and downright sexy FBBs and, as I've said before, I have a ten-years-too-late teenage crush on her (I'm old enough to know better ;D).
