ParticipantFunny that – I recall mentioning a while back that I’d heard that there wasn’t going to be a Ms. Olympia in with the men’s contest this year, and I was told that I was wrong and was made to feel like an idiot…

ParticipantShe really is gorgeous. B)

ParticipantZsuzsi has agreed to model clothes for a fitness company, it seems, and, of course, there’s plenty of Lycra involved. đ

ParticipantShe has superb conditioning, though competition shape isn’t my preference. Thanks Alex!

Participant

And she seemed to be very popular and very good! One wonders why, since she seemed to passionate about the sport! Wonder what triggered her to leave?
My guess is: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Much more to be made doing this than FBB. Also unlike FBB – this is not Subjective – it is OBjective meaning the best one will win unlike Contests where one never really knows what the judges want and like.
Not only is the return on investment nearly non-existent for FBBing, but the $$$ cost that you have to put into yourself is high. Besides the covert expense of PEDs, thereâs a laundry-list of vitamin/mineral/protein etc supplements you have to use (which add up to a serious bite into the monthly budget) as well in addition to the regular diet, which is strict-managed even in the off-season.
There are the social costs – you have live a regimented, disciplined life that revolves around getting to the gym almost every day, being at the gym for a required duration every time. Then, there is your day job (one must pay the bills if one is going to eat, have a roof over their head etc) . . . this doesn’t leave you with much time for an outside social life.
Then, there are the cumulative negative side effects from PEDs – I donât think I have to elaborate on that issue. At a certain point, itâs not surprising that anyone would want to drop out from competitive FBBing, if they want to retain/regain a semblance of their femininity.
Absolutely, Alex. Shannon may well have made a very intelligent decision. B)

I love the Physique category – the competitors are hot even in contest condition. I consider it to be the closest to FBBing as it was 20 years ago in terms of size, proportion and conditioning, and I’d be surprised if it wasn’t more marketable than FBBing at present.I too love the Physique category, and what is great about this category is that it has brought in (and will continue to bring in) a huge
number of beautiful women who would be to intimidated to go into bodybuilding proper.
Absolutely – it enables some incredible women to compete at the highest level and puts them into the minds of fans.
