ParticipantFirstly, I don't think that using the word "bitch" here is acceptable, in any context. Last time I recall it happening, it was a hater of one particular FBBer, and the response was not positive.
Secondly, have you met her? Or are you just going by what you see on TV? I really think it's very unfair to anybody to make the sort of categorical statement about someone that you made based purely on TV and press coverage that may, in some cases, be biased anyway. It's one thing not liking her husband's policies; it's quite another to insult her.
I will agree that the word "bitch" is out of line here, but…
We have to go by what we see on TV or read in the newspapers, since none of us will ever (except under some extraordinary circumstances) get to know her personally. But if I interpret GWHH's second sentence correctly, he may have been trying to refer to her "mean country" remark. Since those remarks, as well as her insistence that it's only now that she can feel "proud of [her] country", were reported accurately, those remarks do become a legitimate reason for criticism of her.
As far as "biased" TV and press coverage, it's been overwhelmingly positive bordering on sycophantic toward the Obamas.
My guess is someone with admin powers is a hilariously petty right-winger* who hates Obama.
*I'm talking the type of person who doesn't go "Man I really disagree with his policies". The type who want him to fail or call him stupid names rather than simply do what Democrats did for 8 years and groan and roll their eyes.
My friend, Democrats did a lot more than simply "groan and roll their eyes." They called Republicans, and especially Bush, every nasty name in the book. "Moron", "idiot", "fascist", "Hitler", "dictator", "racist", "sexist", "homophobe", the list is long and disgusting. They spoke often about how they wanted Bush to fail. They wrote novels and plays and made movies fantasizing about the assassination of Bush. Additionally, they did everything they could to destroy anyone who dared criticize Obama, from political figures like Sarah Palin to private citizens like Samuel J. "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher.

ParticipantStill my favorite portrayal of a muscle-woman in a mainstream movie… she's not the psycho ex-girlfriend (and there are quite a few of those in Skin Deep), not the lesbian sidekick of the villain, not any of the less-than-savory roles FBBs are usually relegated to in Hollywood flicks. Lonnie Jones (the character Raye plays) is friendly, kind and caring (and also incidentally cures Zach's impotence!)

ParticipantAnd there'll still be "fans" out there who'll whine about her being "too muscular" >:(
David C. Matthews
ParticipantNot any muscular laides, thanks to Bill Black's infamous hatred of muscles on women.
Ah, you noticed that too? I remain convinced to this day that that was the main reason why he never allowed me to draw any stories* for him, even though I (and my wife as well) did the color separations for his comics for the first couple of years of his foray into color publishing.
*Okay, he let me pencil a four-page "Tara on Jungle Island" story that appeared in Americomics #2. But after that, nothing.

ParticipantI've gotten a few commissions from dA members, so yeah, there's some money to be made. Forget about selling prints, though; despite the number of people who've requested that this or that pic be made available as a print, I haven't sold a single one in over 2 years of activity.

ParticipantLooking very good so far! Welcome to the forum!

ParticipantNow that's a question I hadn't considered: does that mean I have to make it canon in the "Tetsuko" series?

ParticipantWhat, you never heard of putting a car on a rack?
😀 😀 😀 I wish I'd thought of that! 😀 😀 😀

ParticipantDoes this mean they've given up on the original (Jen Walters) She-Hulk? Not sure I like that idea…
