ParticipantConsidering how the hysterical left is reacting to her, this is down right flattering.
She was an athlete, wasn't she?
She was a basketball player in high school – her team won the state championship that year.
And in an interview I saw recently (that was conducted a few months before she was named McCain's running mate), she mentioned in passing some of the physical activities she still finds time for in her busy life, and I particularly remember "lifting weights".

ParticipantIf it's any consolation, I missed you.
Six times.
The rain fogged up the scope.
I thought those were just insects flying past my head. Really, really fast…

ParticipantWhoa! JimmyDimples wasn't kidding about the search party!
Well, we came through Fay all right, but then I lost my Internet service when a limb from the neighbor's tree fell and took our cable with it. (It also provides our cable TV and digital phone service.) Fortunately, the service was restored a couple of days later.
I should check in here more often. You guys do miss me when I'm gone! That's …touching… *sniffle*

Well, welcome aboard!

ParticipantMakes me want to dust off and finish one of the several attempts I've made over time to do an animation.

ParticipantThe solution is simple: don't draw from that angle.
I'm not being facetious; that's exactly my philosophy. I have extraordinary difficulty with that view myself, so I almost never use it. The fact is, there are so many more interesting poses to use that I don't find much use for it.
I'm still trying to master this angle, because it will better inform my other work. (So unfortunately I don't have any better advice.)

ParticipantAn interesting list… some of these actually fall under the "goodbye and good riddance!" category (mumps and measles, pit toilets AKA "outhouses"); and I imagine that quite a few of the listed things (cameras that use film, VCRs) are disappearing from the world, not just from America.

Participant"The Internet Is For Porn" is one of the funniest songs I've ever heard! 😀
