ParticipantI hate these links to Live Journal. If you don't belong to the site, they take you to a no man's land.
That's weird. I don't belong either, but I got there all right. Was asked to confirm I was over 14 ??? but once I did I saw the page OK.
Maybe trying a different browser…?

ParticipantI came -> <- this close to doing what I think would've been a cool April Fool's joke on my deviantART site..
The plan was: I'd pretend that I got so caught up in projects to do (not so far-fetched ;D ) that I'd completely "forget" to do a Tetsuko Cosplay Calendar wallpaper/desktop for April, and that I'd stoop to asking the 5-year-old daughter of my neighbor to draw one for me: Tetsuko as Winnie the Pooh. Then, today, I'd reveal the real wallpaper/desktop for April, which I already had drawn up last week.
But I spoiled my joke by what Lingster would probably term "getting greedy": I was so proud of the job I did on the pic that I literally couldn't wait to upload it. The reaction seems to be that, while the pic has gone over as well as I expected it would, that I should've followed through on the prank.
Oh well, maybe next year…

Participantbut I'm curious as to whether more of us are statistically right-of-centre politically than one would expect. There seems to be a correlation between liking buff women and being conservatively-minded, and I, as usual, buck the trend.
Well, I describe my own politics much the way AlexG's were a few posts back (socially liberal, politically conservative).
But I'm not so sure you "buck the trend". I think you'd find more company here than you suspect, were more members to share their political orientations. "Course that might open a can o' worms that's better left closed… 😉

ParticipantIt's amazing that there are some people who still aren't familiar with him and fall for his schtick. It was hilarious – she was getting so frustrated that you could almost see the capillaries in her brain popping.
I read somewhere that Sacha (or is it "Sasha"?) Baron Cohen is retiring his "Borat" character because he's become too well-known; surprised the same thing hasn't happened to Colbert yet.
Who dat? Oh, oh you mean that failed vaudevillian from one of those public access cable channels, like MSNBC. 😉
MSNBC = More Snotty Non-Sense By (Leftist) Chicks
(or is it)
MSNBC = Meth-NBC
That explains a lot… ;D

ParticipantStupidly, I'm not yet a DA member, so I can't see it, but I've just spotted something – Sir DCM has misspelt his own character's name in the thread title!
TESTUKO?!
YIKES!! 😮
Dagnabit!! >:( :-[
Gotta correct it now, if I can…
