ParticipantBurne Hogarth's Dynamic Anatomy and Dynamic Figure Drawing are readily available; they're where I learned most of what I know about anatomy.

Participant(special mention to Sir DCM whose vision of loveliness, namely Tetuko Breckenridge, has kept me in a virtual sense, company during lazy summer days and cold winter nights)
So that's where she's been! I could never get her to tell me where she disappears to… ;D
(thanks for the kind words! …and is it too late to say "welcome back!"?)

Participant…and another one bites the dust. :'(
Sad to see you go; you have my best wishes in your future endeavors.
And that's a hell of a "parting gift" you've left us; many thinks! You'll be sorely missed.

ParticipantYou had me going there for a moment. I thought you were about to tell us there was a She-Hulk character there (an actress dressed in a costume you could have your picture taken with). That would've given me an incentive to go back there, maybe even buy an annual pass.
(BTW, "Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man" is still the best theme park ride ever!)

ParticipantI suppose it's time I replied ;D
I love the idea that Janet's birthday gift to Matt would be an exhibition of her physique and her strength. It was, for the most part, an enjoyable read.
One minor quibble: Matt's last name is "Davison", not "Davidson".
And one rather major quibble, I'm afraid: I'm a little put off by the condescending tone that both the narrator and Janet (to a lesser extent) take toward Matt. This aspect of other muscle-woman stories I've read has been a turn-off for me; I don't think it's necessary to belittle the man this much in order to emphasize the strength of the woman. Matt isn't a weakling, and I found it a little disconcerting to see him referred to as if he was.
But I did enjoy the mental images I was getting as I read the descriptions of Janet's posing and strength feats; if I didn't already have a million-and-one things I want to get drawn I'd try a comics adaptation of it. All in all, pretty good stuff.

ParticipantWow! Thanks for posting these!

ParticipantOld.
Makes sense, the description does list her as being 41, although if that's considered "old", then I'm practically prehistoric!
