ParticipantBTW – nice touch on using a Mystery Science Theater 3000 format. ๐
What can I say – I was a fan of that show, and I still miss it. And now, if you'll excuse me…
"I'm going to curl up in his sock drawer, and sleep for days!"

ParticipantI personally think she'd make a great Powergirl. 8) ๐

ParticipantAmazing piece of work!
Because I like being silly about nitpicking such great quality, I'll mention that while she's got a good supply of body paint, there's no green hair coloring anywhere…quite an oversight! ๐ ;D
It's …uh, well, umm… it's …on the other end of the table! Outside of the picture plane. Where you can't see it. Yeah, that's where it is! ๐

Participantttf-jun – Dave makes a fair point, but I also thought it was a cute animation and I hope this hasn't put you off using your animation/morphing talents in the future on your own stuff. Thanks for the effort you put into this – it was a lovely thought.
It was a lovely thought; and I agree with Jack that I hope you'll continue with your efforts.
In fact, if you wanted to redo this animation with, say, a tracing of the drawing (so that it's your own lines you're dealing with), that would be OK.
I look forward to seeing what you'll do in the future.

ParticipantYou mean do the curtains match the carpet? ๐
Well, for this particular pic, she had to "have the carpet taken out".
(Actually, as I said in a response to a comment at dA, she didn't paint the areas that the costume covered – which still leaves a lot of skin to cover ;D )

ParticipantI really hate to be the wet blanket here, but I'm not happy with this.
I might have been able to let this go had this started from an unaltered version of my original drawing, but the distortion of her triceps in the beginning frame makes it look as though I don't know how to draw her arms. And this concerns me, because it is my art being presented here. (I'll be the first to admit I still have a lot to learn about anatomy.)
I'll say this much positive about it: triceps aside, this is a good job; you've portrayed her ever-growing amazement very well.
This is probably as good a place as any to make a blanket request, to everyone reading this:
In the future, please do not post or display altered versions of my artwork.
I certainly understand the impulse, and I appreciate the affection for my work and my characters that motivates work like this, and the effort that went into it, but I can't allow my work to be misrepresented (by being altered) like this.
I can't prevent you from doing things like this for your own private enjoyment, but I can ask that you not post or otherwise display them. (I had a similar situation over at deviantART, where a member over there had morphed the same drawing this video stared with, the result being that Tetsuko had been given a grotesquely narrow waist. I had to tell him, sorry, but I wasn't happy with the result, and that he wasn't to post it.)
Fan art is all right, as long as it's your original work. (If you want to redo this animation with an original drawing, even if it's a tracing of my drawing, go ahead.)
If nothing else, you've motiviated me to start on my own Tetsuko FMG video sooner rather than later. ;D
Once again, I do appreciate the good intentions behind this video.

ParticipantThis is a relief, in a way, because I know how to pronounce "Parsons". Couldn't figure out "Pedigo", however – PEH-dih-go? Peh-DEE-go? or something else?
Anyway, congratulations to the happy couple!

ParticipantI suggest she should go as SuperGirl next year 8)
Might a Valkyrie and Thundra of Tetsuko be next? ๐
Between here and dA, I'm getting a lot of great suggestions for Tetsuko's next "cosplay". (Ritz, you also suggested Chun-Li at dA.)
So many, in fact, that it'll take years to use them all unless I find a way to accelerate the process a bit. (I do have an idea along that line, but I want to keep it a surprise until I get to implement it.)

ParticipantThe_Collector: So how many PMโs did you get after admitting youโre in the industry? โHey, Iโve got a scriptโฆโ LOL.
But I do have a script… ;D ๐
What's popular now? The war in Iraq; so what movies are we seeing that are being released? The Kingdom, Rendition, and probably a few others come to mind.
At the risk of inciting topic drift…
I'd disagree that the war in Iraq is "popular"; certainly the box office reports (the ones I've seen, anyway) on these movies is nothing to write home about.
But the reason these movies aren't burning up the box office is probably (I'd say very likely) the strong anti-war and virulently anti-military themes these movies project. (That's what's keeping me away from them.) Support for the war itself may be softening among the American people, but that doesn't translate into the same hatred for the soldiers fighting it that we saw during the Vietnam era (although the filmmakers involved in such movies as In the Valley of Elah and Brian dePalma's Redacted certainly seem to be trying to whip up that hatred again, with their portrayals of US soldiers as rapists and murderers – that viewpoint is very popular in Hollywood, though, and I think they're mistakenly thinking that that viewpoint is popular outside of the film industry as well).

ParticipantSurely their experiment of capitalist economy + communist autocracy and restrictions must = eventual collapse?
While I doubt that the Chinese economic juggernaut is in for seriously rough times anytime in the near future, I think the social system cannot easily survive without some major changes…
Something's gotta give. Having tasted the fruit of even limited economic freedom, the people are going to want the political freedom that will allow their economy and culture to really flourish.
Jimmy, I'd love nothing better than to learn you're coming back to the States to stay. I don't think I could have lasted as long over there as you have. And with your experience, finding employment here shouldn't be a problem.
