ParticipantDavid C. Matthews has just had his 1000th post, all eyes are on him, and deservedly so…
And nobody's posted about THIS yet?
http://dcmatthews.deviantart.com/art/Tetsuko-as-quot-She-Hulk-quot-67607297*shakes head, tsk-tsks* I'm disappointed in y'all. :-
Well, it's not really a "She-Hulk" pic, is it?
But you're right, I should have posted about it, at least…

Participantin the meantime, my fingers ain't broke, so I can type "www.amaz0ns.com" in the addy bar just as well as anybody else. 🙂
Or make it a bookmark.
Although you're right, there should be a link to the main site page from any forum page.

ParticipantInteresting – and encouraging – that an image of a muscular woman is still seen as an effective marketing tool. I hope the trend continues.

ParticipantI get so entranced by her upper body (especially those great "dancing pecs") that I have to be reminded what great legs she has.

ParticipantVeeeery interesting indeed – then again, Pol Pot could have won a Peace Prize during the Shrub's presidency (ducks in anticipation of Lingster's barrage).
have won a Nobel Peace Prize. All you have to know about this cockamamie prize is that Yasser Arafat – who never renounced terrorism and the killing of innocent civilians – won it.

ParticipantOf course, you have to be from L.A. for the script to be good enough to win the Grand Prize! ::)
I dunno about that – one of the things they noted in the award announcement is that Joel is a native of Cranston, RI, so the organizers were very pleased that a "native son" won (or co-won, as the case may be) the Grand Prize. (And no, I don't think Joel's RI origins helped us win – there had to have been numerous other submissions from Rhode Island natives, some of whom I'm sure still live there.)
CONGRATULATIONS! It's a sign of the times that a fantasy genre script won the top prize!
What's funny about that is that I honestly didn't think we had a chance of winning any prize (much less the Grand Prize) precisely because our screenplay was a fantasy effort. These types of scripts (nor the movies made from them) rarely win at film festivals (unless the festival itself is dedicated to fantasy, sci-fi, and horror). So winning was as much a shock ("They chose a fantasy script??") as a surprise ("OMG we won!!").
Now sell that bad boy!
Believe me, we'll be doing our best!
