John Nolte at Big Hollywood (quoted in the linked article) said it best: when it comes to actors, it’s more a matter of class than of political beliefs. In my own case, I know that most of the Hollywood actors will hold lefty beliefs that are opposite of mine, but as long as they aren’t obnoxious about them, it won’t affect my decision to patronize their movies.

Tom Hanks, for example, endorsed Obama in 2008 (and I’m guessing will do so again in 2012), but did so in a way that didn’t denigrate anyone who believed differently, and even make a joke about celebrity endorsements. So Hanks’ liberalism won’t prevent me from attending his movies. On the other hand, I will not watch another Morgan Freeman movie because of the remarks he made recently: in effect, he called me a racist because I support the principles of the Tea Party. (And now that Samuel L. Jackson has unfortunately echoed Freeman, comments, I will not be watching the upcoming Avengers movie; I’ll even have trouble watching my DVDs of the Star Wars prequels because of him.)

And I apply that to my own work: on those few occasions when I express my own political beliefs, I try to do so in a way that won’t offend the reader (with epithets and such). I don’t want to lose a fan because I’ve insulted his/her political philosophy, although I suspect I’ve lost a few simply because they don’t like my conservative/libertarian views.

And that’s why I cringe every time I come across a picture of a muscle-woman at any site that isn’t already devoted to female muscle: 99.9% of the time it’s accompanied by a gratuitous slam against the women (and sometimes their fans).

Many thanks to AlexG for (once again) picking up the slack when I fall down on updating sites.

wow really nice!!!
it plays so realistic.
We don’t get the Reed Richards “Yawn” explains it all theroy

That’s mainly because even Sonya herself doesn’t know why the formula affected Tetsuko the way it did. (That’ll become an arc through the coming stories, as Sonya sets out to find out why.)

admittedly I don’t know which of these artists draw for LHArt, just that I’ve seen them on dA and Pixv, can’t recall DCM ever offering any of his muscle girls for sale save for commission so there’s a giant red flag there.

… hell has he even been asked to make a comic for Amy’s Conquest yet?

I have been asked to do some some work for Amy’s Conquest; I just haven’t had the time to, between my personal projects and my commission work. (And I’m not generally into the kind of domination/humiliation of males stuff that are the staples of AC, and LH-Art for that matter.)

I have done a few stories for LH-Art in the past (“The Ad”, “Growing Pains Part 2”, “Killer Workouts”, and they also reprinted the first two issues of my early Satin Steele comics). And art from those books was what I expected to see, and think, “Oh, this is just KTM not being aware that Larry did pay to have me draw some comics for him back in the day.” I certainly didn’t expect to see that panel from Tetsuko in that third page; that hurts.

I’ll have to contact Larry and see what’s going on; but it’s not like him to pirate artwork like that. Unless Larry’s not running the company anymore…

Geez. First some eBay merchant takes one of my drawings, now this. I wish I could make some money off my own art! (Aside from commissions, that is.)
…hey, wha’ happened to the “Preview” button?

When you post a message, it’s now located within the Boardcode icons, the two @ the far right – a choice of preview pane below, or pane right (side).

Nice Tetsuko portrait! :woohoo:
(More of her comic book comiing soon, I hope.)
Ah! There it is… thanks, AlexG!

Fret ye not!! The Tetsuko comic will continue!! (Being co-admin of the Female Muscle club on dA won’t take up that much of my time… or so I’ve been assured…)
