ParticipantBefore anyone else installs Bioshock on their machines, you might want to read THIS and especially THIS. Installing the game also installs a DRM scheme called "SecuROM" that some contend is a rootkit. Even the demo installs it.

ParticipantJohnny Storm screaming like a little girl 😀
Can't say I'm all that fond of the character designs.
But that's a great find, thanks for the link!

ParticipantI know! How about we do a comic about a highly trained special mission force, fighting for freedom, wherever there's trouble? They'll be there!
Funny thing is, years ago I did have that as a concept for a series I wanted to do: "Team Amazon", a sort of all-female "Impossible Missions Force". So maybe that's an idea worth resurrecting?

ParticipantAny way a nice Power Girl by Sportelli.
I saw that suit cutting into her *insert more tasteful euphemism for "crotch" here* like that and thought "OW! Wouldn't that hurt?" Then I remembered: Power Girl. She wouldn't feel it.
Now, an ordinary woman… 😮

ParticipantWhat with the US planting warships off the island and then just watching as the OMACs slaughtered the Amazons. Then they kidnap Wonder Woman to try and get the secrets of Amazonian tech from her.
This (among others) is one reason why I don't buy Marvel or DC anymore – I am so heartily sick of this whole "US military=evil" sh*t.
One of these days I'm going to do a comic wherein the military are the good guys, for once.

ParticipantThose are some of the same questions that run through my head as well, boinaka. The Orlando area took a direct hit from Charley, and glancing blows from Frances and Jeanne in 2004; after not having had a hurricane in the 30+ years previous. And that was enough to make me never want to be anywhere near a hurricane ever again. I can't imagine what it would be like to have to live in an area where practically every hurricane that forms will blast your life back to square one (lose your house, lose your belongings, maybe lose a loved one, etc.)
