I remember… it was the muscularity of the title character that attracted me in the first place.

    Both morphs are skillfully done.

I'm in agreement with Neon that the logo across the belly in the first pic is too distracting. Putting it on the shorts in the second pic is a much nicer touch.

    Good work!

Oh, excuse the thread necromancy, but I figured this is important:

I can now access Blogspot stuff from behind the Bamboo Curtain now.  (This means I can read DCM's blog now!  Yay!)

Don't know whether or not it's because China's side loosened up, or Blogspot sold out…  :-

That's great news (and not just because you can read my blog now)!

Blogspot/Blogger being owned by Google, it seems to me that the sellout happened when Google agreed to China's censorship in the first place. Maybe China's loosening up… let's hope so.

    No hard feelings?

    No hard feelings!  ;D

And, Neon: Thanks for the compliments, but that wasn't "swift work"; I'd already drawn that pic up for a different posting back in February (I forget exactly which topic), so it's already been posted once. (Though come to think it of it, it was swift work when I first drew it. I wanted to get it drawn and posted quickly; I'd have refined and improved it over the intervening time if I'd known I'd have use for it again! 😀 )

I think if they HAD used a female bodybuilder in that commercial, it'd been sorta like this…

    ***

(Off-camera, we hear heavy footsteps come closer.  Tetsuko marches onto shot, steps in between PS3 and Wii.)

TETSUKO:  Hi.  I'm a PC.  Sorry I'm late.

*ahem* If you mean "PC" to mean "personal computer" (no matter who makes it or what OS it runs), then… OK.

If you mean "PC" as "machine that runs "Windows", then there's a problem with your scenario, Jimmy…

Just your regaler Mr.Evil type boss, maybe he's the son of the old man in the wheelchair I dnot know.

Slade's son? Not a bad idea… I hadn't thought about whether Slade would have children, but it would make sense.

Ooh! I know! This is the son that didn't want any part of his father's crime business; but when someone tried to kill his father, he decided to take out the would-be murderers himself, and starts spiralling down into more and more…

…wait: seems like I've heard that story before…

I guess I should comment on the art, though, ne? Overall, a pretty good job. I'd have liked to see her head a little larger (not much!), and in an action pose (after all, she is the star of the game!) but a nice job for the most part. I appreciate the thought and imagination that went into this. (I suppose it would be churlish to point out the word "muscular" is misspelled on the art; yet properly spelled in the subject heading… Yes, it would be churlish, so I won't mention it. …What?)

I had no idea Lady Penelope had her own comics series! Must've appeared only in the UK.

*leads the entire planet in a standing ovation*

Hold on there, MGN… I'LL be leading the planet-wide ovation!

This has been a very enjoyable story; I've looked forward to every installment. I wish I had the money to pay JD to write for me full-time.

Jimmy, you have a wonderful knack for characters and characterization; even minor characters don't feel "stock" or stereotype. One of these days, I may just go ahead and illustrate this story as someone has already suggested.

One of the reasons I held off commenting until the end was that I wanted you to have your way and make your own story with the characters, instead of nit-picking about how "this isn't what I intended the characters to be like" etc. Part of the purpose, and the joy, of fan-fiction is to write the characters they way they aren't in their regular continuity. (As long as they're not changed too radically.) In other words, I didn't want you changing what you'd written.

    In short; excellent job, Jimmy.

(Oh, and the ending: love the "Polymer City Chronicles" reference! I like the idea of Drs. Gannon and Bonn as colleagues…)
