Part of the fun of posting art is getting the reactions… so let me respond to a few:

Yeah, it is a tight fit for her… after all it's a normal size bed which was just fine while she was 5' 6", but now that she's 6' 5", and hasn't gotten around to getting a new bed yet… (as the artist tries to get around the fact that he can't keep sizes proportionate worf a damn… :-D)

And I know you've already got the answer to the question "what is she eating?"…

And the stuff she is eating, mr nam, is pocky. a japanese baked product rather like long thin biscuits. in fact, exactly like long thin biscuits. because thats what they are. usually flavoured or dipped in something.

Yeah, they've got Pocky in China, too.  There's chocolate, milk, coffee, almond, strawberry… all sorts of flavors.  You'll probably find a box in any decent anime fanboy shop or import grocery store stateside.

Indeed. Here in Central Florida (Orlando area), you had to go to the Mitsukoshi department store at the Japan pavilion at Epcot to get it… until a store called "Japan HQ" set up in Orlando Fashion Square (just a couple of miles from my house), selling anime toys, model kits, figurines… and Pocky! And now I'm addicted! (Most amusing variety: "Men's Pocky"; dark chocolate. How many food items can you name that are marketed almost exclusively to men?  :lol:)

Oh, and note also: although it looks like it should be pronounced to rhyme with "hockey", it actually rhymes more with "hokey". As in their current jingle, "Anata mo watashi mo Pocky!" ("You and I [are] Pocky!")

Though the thing that gets me is not just Tet-chan's choice of snacks (she has to be cheating on her diet like that), but how shredded her wife-beater is revealing her physique!  Either she's still getting a bit bigger or she just had a tough time putting it on earlier :p

As for the shirt: yeah, she just had a tough time putting it on. (The fabric could only take so much stress…)

As for the diet: I was planning to reveal this in the next story, but she really has no "diet" as such. I was planning to posit (and this is not giving away any big plot secret) that her incredible strength is the result of a very active metabolism, which requires her to eat what the Coneheads used to refer to as "mass quantities" of food. So she'll be eating quite often, almost continually. And while she'll try to eat as healthily as practicable, there'll be times (like in the picture) when she'll polish off a box (or two) of her favorite snack…

The hello kitty brand has been slapped onto some of the most terrifying things you can imagine. 😛

Not sure how "terrifying" these are, but at J-List I found a Hello Kitty ear pick (so your wife can clean your ears, as is Japanese custon), and Hello Kitty toilet paper. They used to carry a Hello Kitty vibrator (!), but apparently that's not being made any more.

Very well done! I thought it was a real magazine at first, until I looked closer at the photos on "page 63" and began to recognize some of the sources those photos had been adapted from.

Best of all, though, were the paragraphs about the girls; well thought out. (I loved the description of the one who played the Wicked Witch in her high school's production of Wizard of Oz: "During her performance her biceps accidentally ripped through the sleeves of her costume.")
