THAT'S where I remember your name from… you used to do stories for Bill Black!

I worked with him a little bit back when he first launched Americomics (now AC Comics); my wife and I did color separations, and I drew a 4-page "Tara on Jungle Island" for Americomics #2. The gory details are here.

The fact that the "Voiced By:" credit is blank doesn't give me any hope… I can just imagine someone like Ed Asner's voice coming out of that face.

Yeah, but I'm calling BS on this blog. The first few posts are pretty straight-forward in describing their relationship (although he does come across as a bit "whipped" if you know what I mean); then suddenly the most recent post, "My Absolute Stupidity", reads like an LH-Art pamphlet (and we find out why he's "whipped").

Hey, Zs are cool!  Think "Suzuki," "kamikaze," "naze" and other Japanese stuff… I think Tetzuko's an improvement!

(Maybe we can do an alternate logo with the S in her name a stylized backwards Z? 😉 )

Great as always, but two questions…

(1) Hasn't Slade's face color gotten a lot fresher and more vivid in a hurry?

(2) When will we see the update to the little "commentary" box on p. 11?

Naaah, I'm fond of "Tetsuko".

To answer your questions:

(1) You're right; I have let his coloration get a little too healthy-looking. Maybe the sudden rush of excitement over Sonya's formula has improved his circulation. Yeah, that's it, the excitement has improved his circulation!!  😆

Either that, or I've got a lot of panels to correct  😮

(2) I probably won't do the commentaries until I've finished the story. Unless I change my mind…  😀

Well, I'm not a fan of gory horror, but (as AlexG said) if this has you inspired, go ahead and write it! Check with Lingster as to what's acceptable, but I imagine you're safer with prose than with art; I doubt that artwork in this vein* would pass muster. (Just load up on the disclaimers at the beginning, of course.)
