Who am I?

I'm a 28 year old married gal who's seen a lot, done even more and is about to share even more than that with you guys.

I split my time between Chicago, Boston and Cork, Ireland. Right now I'm in Chicago, tying up some loose ends involving my schooling.

I'm a foster mom to an amazing eleven year old girl who's snarky, smart, driven and absolutely beautiful.  I'm married to a guy that treats me like the princess that I am.

Now….on to the stuff that you guys probably didn't know about me.

I teach music, both privately and at the secondary/collegate level. I hold a BFA, an MFA and a DM.  I'm a graduate of Berklee and Northwestern University and no, I will not write you a song.  😀 Music is my life. I'm constantly writing new music, coming up with concepts and ideas and thinking about it. As I'm typing this, I'm actually writing out some notes for a piece that an associate and I are collaborating on.

I'm pretty into body modifications & tattoos. I'm actually inked up. I have a chest piece and a sleeve.

I'm a huge…huge…HUGE Wizard Of OZ nerd, also. I watch the movie at least once a week. I know every line, every song, every dance step, every error. I also collect WOO memorabelia.

I'm something of a fan-girl, too. I'm big into Smallville, Heroes, X-Files, comic books (both my husband and I collect comics & graphic novels), etc…etc.

I'm Irish…not Irish-American…Irish. I was born and raised in Ireland until I was six and we moved to the states. I still have my accent and I pride myself on that. I hold dual citizenship for both Ireland and the US.

I also collect shoes, Japanese trinkets, books on serial killers and Guinness schwag.

Oh and to clarify this once and for all:

I AM NOT A MEMBER OF THE BAND NORTHERN STATE.

And no, I am not the redhaired punk rock girl from Real World San Diego
