ParticipantNot so long ago, gamers had the opportunity to see a trailer for the next Resident Evil. It showed a (white) guy blasting (black) african zombies.
Of course, clamors of indignation followed. It didn't matter to these people that these were zombies, that most africans are black skinned and that the character involved was of caucasian decent. They didn't bother trying to understand the context. No. What mattered to them was that some white dude was killing black folk… the rest, the story, the context didn't matter. To these people this was racism pure and simple!
Was this reaction class A-1 stupid? Hell yes. >:(
So I say post away, because there will always be people who get easily offended. Hopefully, people around these boards are more intelligent than that.

ParticipantIt doesn't show a whole lot, but this has to be one of the sexiest photo I've seen in a long time. Gorgeous woman.

Participant… Cashews, is that you? Heh, it's funny, I was just asking FMF about the Veldt commission he displays as a sample, and if he had done any more sequences in that vein.
Yah, that's me. I had to get rid of the Cashews personae a few months ago as I was having privacy issues with it. A pity since I had been using it for years. :-
As for more from FMF, there is indeed. The sample he posted on his site is actually the original sequence he did for me. I went back to him a few months after, to add some more details and fill a few gaps. Don't worry, you'll see the whole thing pretty soon.
I applaud your generosity, though really, seeing the personal nature of this character, I would more than understand if you chose not to share her. I certainly didn't think less of you for that. Your money is yours to spend as you please. Still, art is meant to be viewed, and the community is always enriched by more voices. ๐
Well she is a very personal character. I designed her at a time in my life when everything was going wrong. And because of that, I'm going to torture you with some 'details' and some 'explanations' instead fo just posting pics of her. ๐
But as you said, art is meant to be viewed. And while my money is my money, I have about 4 gigs of BE and FMG on my hard drive. I didn't pay for all of that. Some I got by subscribing to various websites over the years and some just ended being made available by valuable contributors.
Sharing some of this stuff, some of my Veldt, is just my way of giving back a little.
If someone doesn't like the artwork or the character, I don't really care. But if someone does love the artwork, does love the character, then my job's done.

ParticipantLucky snake. ๐
Seriously, it looks very good. My only critique is the the abs do not look as natural as the rest of her new body.
And I agree with your comment on DA, she -is- a beautiful woman.

ParticipantThe first commission I ordered from Reiq, this one actually ended up being done twice. The original version portrayed a slimmer Veldt, with smaller breasts and a definite lack of details in her leg muscles. We ended up talking a bit about the character, so that he could get a better grasp of how I envisioned her.
The final result was this piece of artwork. She wasnโt as athletic as I would have liked to see her, but I was rather pleased with the overall design and with the coloring.
Next: Cleavage! ;D

ParticipantKaren is awesome. Even tight and cut, she's quite a beauty. And what a smile. ๐

ParticipantThis is the first commission I ordered for Veldt. The artist behind MMOART.com was also a CoH player and many of his early public work had been ordered by other fellow players. This was technically the only souvenir I was supposed to order for this character, but I guess that when you start, one isnโt enough.
Although a nice piece, the colors were a bit off. This was my fault really, as my monitor as the time was dying without me realising it. The colors looked fine on my side of the screenshots, but certainly not when I finally received the final product! Oh well. ๐
The design was supposed to represent her in full hero-costume and show to the viewer both sides of her nature: her human side, and the alien entity she harboured in herself and which gave her her powers.
More to come…

ParticipantI wonder if Tenebrae has the copious free time to start another site to address that. ;D
Well, if he needs contributors to help him out, I'm sure there's a few people on Amaz0ns who would be willing to do so… unless Lingster wants to try first. ๐
Still, we're straying from the topic, which is that girls growing more muscular is something that FMF does well. And I hope to establish that more clearly with more commissions down the line!
More down the line, hey? Good news, good news…
