    Nah, I just like the color theme. :p The desktop was more of a one-shot; this character seems to be recurring a bit.

    Color. 😀 You don't get a tan that dark without suntan oil, so this was my first attempt at a bit more shiny skin as well.

    Spectacular work, once again. (Having a colorist for PCC seems to have freed up a lot of productive time.) (Not that I'm suggesting that time spent on PCC isn't productive, but…) (Well, you know what I mean!!) (I hope…)

    I've been juicing up the linework in PCC as well as doing more of this sort of thing…to be honest, Motoko does a far better job on PCC colorwork than I do, and she gives the strip a lot more credibility as animation or film fodder.

    This pic is destined for Kinsyo's page as well as the other one of Reiko I already sent; I'm pretty sincere about trying to break into the Japanese art scene because from what I've seen, there are very few japanese artists who tackle FMG. I don't mind helping fill that niche, and it gives me an excuse to improve the anime/manga portion of my style. In fact, you'll note the new sig I've been signing some of my newer works with; this an easily recognizeable image for use on pics destined for the Japanese audience.

    Is this what you had in mind Otto?

    Yeah, that's about where my head's at. :p I may be retooliing hair color concepts so that if I draw them in a group image, Yurika,  Reiko, and Umi's tresses won't clash.

    Glad you like; Reiko is fast becoming my 'Tetsuko', though I'll probably never do near as much with her as Dave's done with his. 😀

    The thighs were a bit of an experiment; I find that when I draw them larger than usual, they add weight and presence. Still, in cases such as Yurika in the other thread, a disproportionately small lower body has its own aesthetic appeal as well. Sucks to have to pick and choose. :p

    Where is your work these days, boy? There's not even any remnants of your OLD work posted anywhere. Why is that?
