I'm glad you guys are liking this stuff. Time was just a few years ago that I really wasn't sure that I wanted to be called an FMG artist, but these days? Fuck it. I can do it well, people seem to like it, and dammit, at least my work won't be ever considered 'average'. Bizarre, twisted, and freakish maybe, but not average. :p I go where my work is wanted, and it seems that it's wanted the most in the FMG fandom.

As for whomever is Reiko's boyfriend I wish I was in his shoes 😀 😀

Was the "miso soup" line a reference to Maison Ikkoku?  It sounds familiar.

It's actually something I learned from a Japanese friend of mine when I lived in LA; she basically explained that it's a coy way of asking someone to 'stay the night'. Then I made her miso soup the next morning. :p

As for which website I'm referring to, it's the fictional site that I own the real-world domain name for, but to date have done nothing with. What could I put there that I don't already have on my DA account?

There's a bit of story behind that. What it is is that Zeira's race finds potential allies through an extensive psychic screening process. There are those that dream of being more than what they are, of being superheroic,  and the more they long for this, the stronger the psychic emanations of their desires (their 'will') become. It's the strongest of these thoughts that are homed in on, contact is made, and the offer given. The jewel is the catalyst, a unique element found only in the rings of asteroids rotating around Ziera's home planet. The energy within them is attuned to psychic emanations, collecting them, and converting them into physical reality when the host ingests it. The crystal will only work for the one whose thoughts have been collected inside it as it's powers produce the physical manifestation of the host alone; this is how Ziera knew that Shaelynn would take the stone, as really the stone was 'hers' to begin with.

In Ziera's own words, "Sometimes the bravest of hearts beat in the frailest of bodies. We're fixers. We fix that."

Well, the characters are mine so you might see more of them, sure. :p I'm not really into FMG scenarios or a lot of the other trappings that go along with the fandom, but this one seemed harmless enough (and the money was really good) so I went along with it. :p
