ParticipantI'm liking it a lot. I found a Korean site which has the same book and might have higher resolution pictures:

BTW, to answer something the original poster mentioned, this is definitely a self-published doujinshi. Basically, if it doesn't have a serial number or a publisher's name on it, it's probably doujinshi.
Could there be a sequel to the book coming? This blog post shows two images which don't appear in the other issue, or at least I can't find them.

ParticipantAwesome, Mikazuki! I'm a huge Appleseed fan, too. I thought it'd be appropriate to quote from a previous post about Appleseed:
Appleseed by Masamune Shirow
When it comes to depicting the female figure in delicious manga form, all must acknowledge the prowess of Masamune Shirow (?? ??). Shirow-sensei has always been very liberal with his female muscle in his works. Some of the earliest examples of this can be found in Appleseed Volume 3. There are a few panels in the book which are pretty good, and the last panel with Deunan Knute and Hitomi working out is one of my all-time favorite pics. Enjoy.
There's another panel in the manga when she's taking out a squad of soldiers in combat training and she keeps a kill count on her arm. As she crosses off another kill, you can see a noticable bicep there. I'll see if I can dig it up.

ParticipantVery nice, Fett. You mentioned a while ago that you had something coming up, and it's nice to see it. Are you working on any other pieces currently?

ParticipantWhere'd you find her? That's a sweet picture of her, and in an unusual green.
I think I've seen that pic up on Deviant Art before.

ParticipantHere are 3 Aki's from the 90's and one from a few weeks ago. Sean Harrington did the new one and then I have another Louis Small, a Tom Raney and I believe a Val Semeks Aki.
Awesome stuff, Masschine!
