Oh. Sorry for misunderstood you. To me, neither one is really an Amazon, and I am trying to be lenient. For example, I just watched a Japanese scifi, they cast women who are fit but not quite “muscular”. I don’t think they would be able to compete in a physique competition, but I praise them instead of criticizing them. They are trying.

I was thinking of Kacy Catanzaro. And what I meant was that they don’t look hulking or huge, exept maybe Megan, but they are in a demanding sutiation were they end up looking pumped. And don’t forget that Jessie Graff is Melissa Benoist (Supergirl on TV) stunt double.

WW has to be succesfull if we ever want things to change. Studios always make the wrong interpretation when movies bomb. For example, “Mars needs moms” was a failure for Disney and the analist said that people wouldn’t go to a movie with the word “mars” on it so, they removed anything that had to do with Mars from “John Carter OF MARS” marketing campaign.
If WW bombs, all they will see is “Female lead action/adventure movies don’t work” and move along with the next trend.
Yes, we have to deal with not so imposing women in action roles, but have you seen all the ladies that are appearing in American Ninja Warrior. They are petite but strong, and there isn’t any VFX in there.

It was always a rumor that Bruce Timm wanted that to happen in Batman TAS, but was never able to do it (Bruce and Barbara toghether, not the pregnancy). It looks like somebody took that note and put it in a comic book. And he finally was able to use it in The Killing Joke.
