Hasn't any of you guys thought of the possibility that this guy created his own universe, with his own set of rules, where Rogue can't take magic powers or whatever?

    just thinking…

Oh and BTW, this guys qork is really great

Fasola, Professor Xavier finally appeared in Deadly Genesis #5. But he's no longer a mutant. The Scarlet Witch did however leave him a final 'gift'. Therefore, it will be difficult for him to make a stronger contribution to the Civil War.

If Marvel is serious about making big changes to their universe, then I'll stick to it. I've given up on DC.

Thanks Holiday, but don't leave me like this. tell me what happened. I don't think I'kll get that series.

And I have also given up on Dc for quite a while….

I would have said Roxy from Gen13, but I agree with Cheetaur: fantastic job… 👿

You got it right Fly, she looked like roxy for me, so I colored her with that hair color.

TC2, thanks again, I'll get to that as soon as I can.

Fasola I've been watching you're color works for the longest time, there are sometimes where you really knock it out of the park and other days where it looks like you're still practicing.

So because I want to see you color more things and improve I'm going to suggest a few things to you:

    – It looks like you're obviously using the burn tools to add shading, though this is a great tool to use, you are using a much too severe burn on some of the pictures.  So I would assume you would be using "shadows" under the burn feature, which although can come in handy for obviously making shadows.  You use it throughout the entire image and this is in turn detracting from the illustration.

    – You're also not using enough colors, you seem to put a flat color on the image and then just use burn tool to do the rest.  Although this is a fast way to get a project done it makes the color job look boring and lacks a bit of life.  If you look at DCM's coloring and Eegore's coloring you will see an entire plethora of colors being used to color their images.

    – Also, you're lighting seems to be all over the place.  In your most recent colorization of Ms. Marvel it looks like you randomly selected where the hair gets darker making it seem like you were guessing where to put colors.  Instead pick a point where light is coming from and try to color in that fashion.

    – You need to start using more tools besides the burn tool, there's a variety of different brushes and modes that you can turn on to give you an even better coloring job than what you're making now.  If you click on the brush tool and set it to "multiply" with a different color or even a variety of the different options you can create some truly amazing pieces.

    – Lastly, the skin colors you're choosing are just much too dark.  It gives them such a severe look that it just doesn't look natural, it doesn't look like it would come out of a comic book.  Try to use lighter colors instead and use the extreme dark ones for very serious and dark moments.

That's all I've got for you Fasola, you seem to have a real -want- to color so I would like to see you utilize what I've suggested to you and see your newest works.

    Thanks, TC2, thanks a lot.
I really apreciate this kind of reply.
I do use the burn tool, but I use it in many different ways, and with it's multiple options (I have ps in my home language, so i don't have a clue about the names in english). I want to improve my style and skills that's for sure.
Now, I do like the way that high contrast gives to the images. I could try a more "realistic" type of coloring,  and I have to use more colors. However, and this is my own personal opinion, and even having this point of view, I like almost everybody's work, I feel that the new style of coloring that is being used, and in comics too, where the art lines are almost invisible, because of the way they are painted, is not my cup of tea. I read them, and like it, but I feel that the art line becomes secondary, and the coloring is more important (all the New Avengers series, spider-woman origin, etc.). I believe that the color just enhances what the penciler and/or inker already did.
All this explanation takes me to the point where I explain why I do all my works in front line light (I don't know a better way yto put it). You see, as I explained before, the color is just the fruit of the cake, the important thing is the base art. So, if the artist draws the ihghlights and the shadows in ink The image has it's lighting, and the color just enhance it. If the art line is plain and smooth simple lines, for me the image is centered, so i color it like that.

All this is to explain some of the struggle inside my head, not a complain. I REALLY feel that there is a lot to improve, and feedback is the bast way to know. Thanks again TC2.

Oh, and about the skin color, I get them from a sample pallette I downloaded some time ago. I might Lighten them a little.

    Thanks again.
