As the face (and voice) of Marvel so to speak he's perfect.  Compared to Julius Schwartz, well not that there's some sort of EIC beauty contest, but Stan is great in that capacity.  I don't hold any ire towards him really but when it comes to credit where credit is due the industry has always had it's problems, and not just Marvel.

Another thing to consider is the major characters created after Jack left marvel.  With the exception of Cockrum's X-men, there's…punisher, gambit and venom?  😀

um…actually it was mainly Kirby.  There's a reason Stan wasn't allowed into Jack's funeral after all. Although I do like how he's posed as if he was caught running off with spidey's mask.

granted, my girls are on the punier side compared to the rest of you folks but the reason I do it is:

I think for me it's one thing for a girl to be attractive and cute and all, but it's another if she actually DOES something.  The best example of this I can think of in my experience is Trish Stratus.  Now there were other divas in WWE who many would consider more traditionally attractive (keibler, wilson, etc.), but Trish might very well be the best female wrestler outside of Japan.  With me it got to the point where I forgot she was attractive and just noticed her skill.

With ladies like Mary Lado, Christine Pomponio, the blonde girl in this month's flex who's name I can't recall, Jelena Abbou, etc, it's almost a recognition of what they've done to get their bodies to that point and maintain it.  You can put on make up, you can go the low road and show off every hole you've got, but it's not the same level of reverence to me.  Sydney Moon puts me in the lustful state.  April Hunter puts me in awe.

You rarely hear the term  "Today scientists in canada have discovered…".  Socialized anything is alot like a kid's soccer game where they don't keep score and there's no winner or loser.  Nothing gets accomplished but you feel better about yourself for being mediocre.

Why does a site about beautiful fit women continuously bring out the libertarian in me?  Damn you lingster 🙂

updated 06/01/07, not too terribly much in the main page except the 3 remaining lebowski pics, but since this is the #1 site that links to me I figured I'd make the "hidden giant-sized gallery" a bit easier to find for you all.

The clue "Chair" refers to an image on the comicspoofs page, and one of them tells you what page you have to type in your browser to view the hidden stuff.  Oh, and mouseover the right of that page to view the extras!

Updated 04/24/07, 4 "3×1-1" pics (sorry, have to keep the mr. show bits rolling), 2 blondes, and 3 for a contest I'm currently involved with featuring the lovely ms. bianca beauchamp.  Oh, 1 Kirby influenced piece and a Big Lebowski influenced piece.  Figure at least some of my fans are Coen Brothers fans as well.
