The question is; did Arnold take steroids?

Arnold (kinda) said, "When steroids were legal, yes I did."

My point is that no matter who you're asking, when you're asking if they did something that is illegal but always wasn't so, this sounds like an appropriately honest answer.

It's photoshop. I too, am not too happy on how she 'blends' into the background.

    Thanks! 🙂

As far as I've heard, Arnold has admitted taking steroids – during the period in which they we legal. When they were illegal he stopped taking them. Considering their illegality, one can only expect so much honesty.

The article was very interesting, though!

for a difficult art on which i ll spent a lot of time, i may ask some money..

It's sad to say that if you ask for payment, suddenly people will not want the picture any more. A lot of people expect you to draw for free. Never be afraid for asking for money in advance of doing a piece for somebody.

I've done three commissions so far, and each was paid in advance and they were very patient as I took my time doing the commissions. But when I put up a picture I just drew and give my paypal account for tips – I've had one tip so far (which isn't bad in so much as 'less than I expected').

My point is – if you're expecting to get paid make sure that the price is agreed upon before you start drawing, otherwise you or someone else will end up very disappointed. 🙂

    Good luck!

As an artist, I usually do a commission if I'm paid upfront, but will waive that in rare cases. With a group of people making a single commission, the money would DEFINITELY have to be upfront.

That said, the idea of say, hiring someone like Jeb or Rex to do a pin-up of a character, and having half a dozen or so guys band together to do so is not a bad idea. There are some people out there who ARE quite happy to purchase commissions, and if they all got together, they could actually get more commissions, as well as allowing them to commission a more elaborate piece such as a comic or what not.

I think you could be on to something here, so best of luck with it. 🙂

I'm sorry I missed your posts about this, Fett.  I would have given you some credit if I had known about your posts on this subject.  I haven't been here that long, and haven't read the board very often since I joined.  BTW, Thanks for the better elliptical circumference equation.  It should help me out when I get to parts like chest where the aspect ratio is far from 1:1.

No need to apologize! I was just a bit dumbfounded, wondering if I had in fact made up a memory of posting things. 😀

I could've sworn I've said this before… I've been measuring my gals for ages to keep their proportions right – until I realised I could actually just do so in the same way I make sure their legs are the right length (i.e. I don't need to measure them).

All I did is use the circumference for an oval.

First, I work out the ratio by measuring from the top of the head to the bottom of the groin. This is equal to half their height in inches, so you divide her real height in inches and then take your measurement of your picture (which is in centimetres), then you get the ratio. So if the woman is 6' and your picture is 28cm, then 3628 = ratio.

Next, I find half the height (a) and half the width (b), then do this formula:

    ([(a2 + b2)2]root) x 2 x pi x ratio = measurement in inches

    I could've sworn I mentioned this AGES ago…  ???

    Thanks, guys!  ;D

Though, I'm surprised at the lack of attention this pic is getting. It's not amazing or anything, but it's SHE-HULK. On the AMAZ0NS board. SHE-HULK. I assumed that would immediately merit 5000 page views overnight! 😛
