    WELL!

    I suggest this – Saturday August 18th. Meet outside the Picadilly Circus tube station. 3pm. We go to Waxy O'Connors. A pub just round the corner. It's very nice. Sit down. Get some food. Head on out and see some of central London (like Covent Garden which is a 15-minute walk away) and enjoy each other's company.

    Who wants to make it?

    I have suggested the 18th for the following reason – it's a Saturday. It's two weeks away giving people time to make arrangements. That is all. If someone says, "Damn, I can't make the 18th, but I COULD make the 11th or the 26th or something – SAY SO AND WE'LL CHANGE IT.

    People need to talk.

    Who's up for that?

    I might end up going. I'm in need of a change of scenery after this week. If I do though, it probably means I'll be late.

    Maybe I'll see some of you there.

    Hey, three hours drive, is way better than an 8 hour flight one way…  It'd be worth it.

    It's not three-hours round trip. You're not taking account of the fact I'd have to catch the tube from where I parked, which would add at least one hour to the round trip. Which means I'd have to leave around 6pm – which is right in the middle of rush hour. All of a sudden in order to be at the pub by 8, it becomes ridiculously time-consuming when you realise I'd probably have to head home after two hours.  :-

    It's a real shame, but I just think it'll be too much hassle.

    That said, we never did get that big London meet-up thing we were going to do earlier, and I'd love to try and get that happening…

    I was wondering what the hell happened to you. You haven't posted in ages.

    I COULD show up – but since I live an hour and a half drive away it would mean I could show up for about… two hours, before heading home.

    We'll see, I suppose.
