I really think it sounds great.

Adam hasn't drawn anything but covers for Wonder Woman. He did it for like 3 years. How is that too much?

Plus, she'll be fucking buff as he always draws her.

Also, Adam Hughes, if you read the comments in the Newsarama thread, is VERY aware of how long it takes for him to work. Which is why his intent is to get all six issues finished before #1 hits the stands. He jokes that should DC solicit #1 before he's ready, he'll cry, run away and quit.

Also, it was joked on his messageboard that Adam is under contract to deliver 10+ pages a month (so with 132 pages, it should take him between 13 and 14 months to do the six issues) with the idea that the last issue he'll draw will be #1, thus preventing DC from releasing any issues before he's completely finished.

Bear in mind he's pencilling AND inking AND writing.

If #1 and a subsequent issue is delayed, it won't be because Adam can't keep his promises, and it won't be because he's slow. He's doing three times the work of any other penciller out there. If he gets it finished in 13-14 months, he's actually been quite fast.

The man just isn't slow at all. Not when you look at the quality and quantity of the work involved.

Also, I love the idea of his Wonder Woman, instead of this crappy, pissed off Amazon who hates men. I love the idea that she'll go, "I haven't learnt Japanese yet."

I'm sooooo looking forward to this comic.

You're wrong Lingster. Shit, you don't even like Nextwave, you lanky gog-eyed freak.

    I love ya, Lingy.  :-* 😉

Adam Hughes' Caitlin was built. So's his Wonder Woman. He doesn't mind drawing big, muscular women. He draws them that size regularly and has a reputation as drawing sexy women.

In other words, Adam Hughes' work, I think, is proof that muscles have little to do with sexiness. It's all about how it's carried.

My opinion is set in stone and infallably correct.

    Looks fine to me.

Only Adam Hughes ever drew her really buff. Everyone else and she was kind of fitness sized for the most part, and that is how she's depicted here.

I'm lookin' forward to the comic.

I remembered an old French & Saunders sketch in which the two were fbbs and were so large that they had to be wheeled onto the stage and immediately struck a pose. The next thing I remember is one of them having to go to the toilet as they run away their muscles explode (off-screen).

Sadly, I didn't find it on youtube. I did find this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2BbrhJ1llg in which Jennifer Saunders impersonates Madonna and they've given her big, thick arms. Doesn't do much for me, but hell, share and share alike.

However, I did stumble onto a damn fine vid of Lorena Driuzzo. I hope someone here knows where we can see more pictures of this hottie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sl9TdJ64i3k

My suggestion for people overseas who want the figure is this: When the She-Hulk figurine is available online in the shop on the website, you tell the person who lives in the UK that you're ordering one and you give them your name and address. Then, the person in the UK gives you their address. You order the figurine online and have it send to your UK volunteer's address. When they get it, they ship it off to you, with you paying for postage via paypal or what-not. This way, the volunteer spends no money, you handle all the exchanges, they just give you a place to have the figurine sent to in the UK.

I'd be willing to do it a few times, if people want. However, the figurine isn't out for a while yet, I think.
