Theres another episode where the mermaid grows, but I think you only see her shadow, she eats a banana (which i think the other characters used early in the episode) but you dont see anything. Could be more, theres all sorts of growth in that series.

Yea, I seen that, however I went to the DC website and seen the spoiler paragraph for the book, I think the one in march said something along the lines of “what will happen to flash and ivy” indicating they get infected, actually flash I believe is already infected and moving super fast so his metabolism stops the effects.
