Beautiful woman.
GertosParticipantI think it’s also worth saying that not every woman can naturally build muscle well (even some men struggle to build muscle), and I can believe pretty readily that Gal Gadot’s body type isn’t naturally muscular. Sure, I’d love to see a buff Wonder Woman–and I can try and say that’s because I’d like to see broader representation of body types for women in movies (which is true, and not just limited to buff women), but I can’t help but be cognizant of the fact that my attraction to muscular women might skew my opinion. Sure, Wonder Woman would probably be fairly buff in an ideal world; but I’m not willing to write off Gal Gadot, the actress, because she hasn’t put on a bunch of muscle which I’m frankly not sure it’s realistic for her to put on in the timeframe of this movie’s release.
There’s also the fact that even if Gal Gadot personally said “I want to put on [value] pounds of muscle!” to her training staff or whatever, I’m pretty sure a buncha DC PR guys would’ve descended on her telling her “Oh no no, you’re going to be toned, that’s the look we’re going for.”
Basically, my reaction to the whole Gal Gadot body-type controversy is that it’s the usual Hollywood bullshit, and that good movies can be made in spite of said Hollywood bullshit.
I say all this, by the way, as someone who thought Man of Steel had potential but at times was embarrassingly inadequate. But I think Zack Snyder is quite a good director; he just needs a firm hand on the story (Watchmen is his best movie. Wanna know why? Because he adhered to the graphic novel and didn’t have to try to do any narrative development, which he sucks at.) So I’m not expecting greatness, but I don’t think it’s impossible at this point, either.
GertosParticipantI feel like you guys are being a little pessimistic. I have to admit I was no fan of Man of Steel, and I have my doubts about this movie–but I don’t think a dark-toned DC movie is necessarily a bad thing, and honestly I’m surprised that everyone’s ragging on Affleck. Have we all forgotten his recent, phenomenal work as a director and actor? Even if Batman V Superman tanks, I’m really hoping he’ll direct a Batman movie. Say what you want, the man knows how to direct.

It’s always funny to me how these female muscle sites repackage old footage as new material
Virginia has been shaving herself bald for over a year now
no way that is a 2015 video
Actually, judging by her physique, I think that’s her in 2015, just wearing a wig (on her instagram she has some pictures which I believe are from a recent show, and I think she’s wearing the same wig).
GertosParticipantI went about recording some timestamps, and I thought hey, you folks might appreciate this.
FMG Scene starting ~7:30
muscular female characters onscreen ~13:42-14:14 with another FMG scene at ~14:05
muscular female characters back on-screen ~16:05-16:12
muscular female characters back on-screen ~17:15-17:38
muscular female characters back on-screen 17:58-18:24
on-screen 19:17-towards the end, more or lessGertosParticipant
another legend has left bodybuilding. she is competing in spartan racing now and says bodybuilding is dead. check out the link and look at her comment 2nd one down. i hope she keeps lifting at least 🙁

She got a metal for just finishing,..
wonder how that compares to winning a bodybuilding show
considering she can keep the lifestyle she clearly enjoys, doesn’t have to go on the crazy diets/crazy prep involved for bodybuilding shows, and can do something she obviously enjoys? I dunno, I figure it stacks up fairly well.
the discussions around this kind of thing always creep me out. it’s her right to not participate in bodybuilding contests if she wishes, and considering the superhuman effort required (for very little reward), I don’t blame her for looking for new opportunities. Admire her, respect her, sure–but I think it’s important to remember that her choices are her own business.
GertosParticipantI think jumping to “SHE’S LEFT BODYBUILDING FOREVER” is a bit much going from the statement that fbb is dead. You can’t exactly blame her for the sentiment.
GertosParticipantMy time has finally come to contribute to this forum. Here is the video you have been searching for:
Now I return, to the shadows.
Thanks so much, my friend!
GertosParticipantThe worst thing is, I can’t quite remember the name of it. And no, it wasn’t a commercial–it was a silly 3d animation (but not one done in with a lot of the premade models you see in a lot of stuff going around; everything looked kind of like it was made of spheres, but it was fairly high quality). The woman was pretty attractive, though at one point her growth becomes kind of comical and she loses human proportions.
GertosParticipantA while ago there was an animation on Vimeo done by some art student or something as a project, about a woman who drank some kind of muscle milk-like product on a beach and got ridiculously (comically) muscular. I remember one of the lines was one guy going “She’s a machine! A MAH-CHEEN!” or something like that. does anyone know where it is? I can’t find it for the life of me
