I love the part where the Force Seven members are up against Amazon's people, who have conquered the people of a parallel universe.

I recently ordered a copy of TSR WORLDS ANNUAL #1, but have not yet paid for that order.  Now I intend to do so very, very soon.

What can I say but "thank you," Lonebeatle?  You were right – Wendy isn't in HEART UNTAMED.  Instead, the werewolf is called Leah.

That's true, Lonebeatle – the main character is the girl who turns into the lioness-creature when the full moon rises.  Wendy is actually the secondary character in the story.

No, I'm not mixing up characters or tales, Lonebeatle.  The story was about a girl who was a fan of a recently-emerged werewolf superhero, who, unbeknownst to her, was her best high school, friend, Wendy.  The girl had a weak heart, and was largely confined to a wheelchair until she visited a zoo one day in search of some missing big cats, and ended up in the clutches of a mad scientist who captured her and transplanted the heart of a lioness into her body, then took her to a hospital.  She recovered from the surgery and seemed to improve to the point where she was in excellent health.  Later, when she and Wendy went back to the zoo, it was at the time of the full moon, and both the girl and Wendy began to transform – Wendy into the superheroine – damn it, I can't seem to remember her code name! – and the girl into a lioness-creature.  The lioness-creature went feral and rushed into the bg cats' area, only to find the mad scientist there, who explained what he had done to the girl to save her life.  He was sent packing by Wendy in her superheroine guise, and the girl became Wendy's assistant.  I understand further that the Wendy the Werewolf character was used with her creator's consent.

No, no – I distinctly remember that in HER HEART IS WILD, the heroine is a fan of a newly-emergent heroine who I believe is called SilverSide or Dark Claw, who, of course, is none other than good old Wendy the Werewolf.

The story also features a character known as Wendy the Werewolf.

Yes, I suppose the title could be HEART UNTAMED, but I just don't know for sure, Lonebeatle.

The third POOL novel was not a novelization of an existing game, but a standalone novel, which I believe was called POOL OF UTTER BLACKNESS.

You know, it has been a long time since I last saw an episode of MISTER ROGERS'S NEIGHBOURHOOD.  Although Fred Rogers is himself deceased, I understand the show is still aired on most PBS television networks.
