ParticipantPoor is the businessman who won't at least dip his toe into trends to see what sticks. (Mmmmmm…mixed metaphors…)
That was a great drawing you did, Delmo!

Participant…Wilma and Betty drawing, decided to do it…I think this is nice enough.
Funny! (Does Fred have painted toenails!?) 😀

ParticipantThe look on Smurfette's face is priceless! I like the dimensional effect that her chin being set behind her pecs creates.

ParticipantThat's cool. Eaglesham's a bad man. Art Thibert, too. (It's near-heresy for me to forget the inker.) Hope PG gets some play.

ParticipantSurely this is a "fandom" and not a "nerd" stuff! ;D
Now, where's that old Bally's(?) commercial she was in ("Before you primp, you gotta pump!")?

ParticipantThere's possibly some other NFSW nudity in these threads, but Australian commerical artist Chris Wahl's cheesecake interpretation of Smurfette is rated PG-13, I think.

ParticipantIn between what I'm supposed to be doing, I've been working on making this misfit prettier–I'm beginning to realize the importance of that. (Still won't compromise on the wide noses, though…)

ParticipantNo disrespect to any of the artists who post here, but Stephen–man, those are the absolute coolest muscle drawings I've ever seen!

ParticipantI use whatever I need. If a photograph of a male bodybuilder's arm shows the angle I want to draw, I use it–with no qualms over using a guy's body to draw a girl. As far as these fantasy drawings go, to me, muscle is muscle–although I wouldn't use a "macho man's" overall body (especially the body language) to draw a coquette…
I referenced a photo of male bodybuilder Ralf Moeller's arms (is "Ralf Moeller" a bodybuilder? I think that was his name) to draw this She-Hulk, and naturally, only the "mesomorph-phobes" at a mainstream comics art site complained.
If I do use a modern-day female bodybuilder photo reference, I try to change/add enough to the drawing to make the source less obvious.

ParticipantOkay, Michel–this is from Excalibur #24…
