ParticipantI was at the Phili comic con this and looked but year and couldn't find that issue. I was told by all the venders I asked that it was hard to get a hols of and was rather expensive to buy if you did happen to find it.
Dude, they're yanking your chain–if you live in the States (and maybe even if you don't) you can buy it from the highly recommended Mile High Comics online store for $2.80* (as I type this…)!
*plus shipping, 'natch!

ParticipantOne of my favorite panels of Davis's is one from the original Excalibur series ('88-89?), where Meggan absorbs power from the earth beneath her bare feet (or somesuch) and grows exponentially–IIRC she was about to jump on the Juggernaut in defense of Captain Britain before the latter stopped her!

ParticipantSorry folks, there's no fight in the first issue, just some jealous glares. Maybe later?
She-Hulk and Thundra are beautifully drawn (as to be expected for Alan Davis and Mark Farmer), but neither one's muscularity is up to the general standards of this forum!

ParticipantOooh, cool! Now, why didn't I think of that?
Too subtle? 😉

ParticipantThat's a really good job you did on the chain mail (giving the brassiere that convex appearance)!

ParticipantHowever, my mutant ablity to pull attention away from my artwork's flaws through ridiculously busy linework saves the day almost every time…

ParticipantAww come on Refaal, it's just some good natured ribbing 'bout the different spelling conventions twixt us rebellious colonials (i.e. Americans) and those red coats(i.e. British). It's all in good fun! ;D
i myself dont see any good in offensive slangs and/or ethnic slur.
Yeah people, let's stop infecting the untainted with America's poison (spelling or otherwise)! 😀
Guys…fuck the spelling ok? Back to the actual peice.
And on that note…Refaal–I'm impressed by the subtlety and intelligence in your colo(u)ring job. The way you enhanced the drawing instead of overpowering it…BRAVO!

ParticipantI keep waiting for her to move.
Me, too. "The Power of Good Cartooning." 😉
I have been remiss in mentioning that I'm loving your new(?) looser, no-crosshatching style, Rex!
Grandmaster
ParticipantYES! 😮 Jed–show us how it's done!
