Aneta has won a few in a row. ESPN stopped televising it a few years back. The strongman has been scaled back as well. The whole roid issue had something to do with it. They run it alot at dead time at the end of the year. The sport has lost it's appeal on TV….even on the men's end. They run it opposite informercials and at times like 3 am. The women's contest is out altogether with espn.

Constructing your own electrophoresis tank is clever.  Buying a clone of the green fluorescent protein gene is not going to risk human civilisation.  Without huge budgets, a massive electricity bill and advanced knowledge, the ability of these people to do things that are going to risk our civilisation is minuscule.  If only people knew how hard it was to make any scientific progres in a proper academic environmnt with incredibly advanced equipment – I should know; I've just spent a year doing it.  This is like a guy building a V8-engined streamliner, taking it to Bobbeville Speed Week and suddenly he's going to break the World Land Speed Record.  It ain't going to happen. The real risk is a break-in or fire, as gel electrophoresis requires lots of toxic chemicals.  This woman's neighbourhood is at slight risk, but you and I?  No.
