The last four comments is exactly what I needed to get me psyched again. I've had the next chapter started a couple days ago and I'm at a point where I can go a couple different ways. All the previous chapters went pretty quick, I was in the "zone", so to speak.
So to those of you that gave me some feedback I am most appreciative, thanks. But I am also going to make an analogy for the rest of the lurkers (I am one, but like I said I'm making up for it now).
Picture being a street entertainer, you invested a pile of time and money into being on that street corner and you chose your location well. You have a very nice audience. You play one set, and you hear abject silence. You play another set, more silence. You hat is empty. You play your heart out, nothing. After a point in time, what is the point? Although the audience may have enjoyed the performance, they don't get anymore.
So once again, thanks for those encouraging comments, I will attempt to make the conclusion worth the slow build up, (haha or I may tease some more)(evil laughter).
guydaleyParticipantI was afraid of that. This is my first story posting and I wanted to post the chapters separately to see if I would get any encouragement and appreciation after each chapter. (The story is NOT finished) I was going to see how well the audience appreciated suspense build up in this forum. I've got almost no positive comments except from neon black. Then two comments that I'm cluttering up the posting listings and that I should have done it differently. I'm going to finish the story because I owe it to all the FMGers whose art I appreciated over the past years but doubt I'll write anything more. Its my way of saying thanks. But I'm rapidly losing my enthusiasm.
guydaleyParticipantThat's exactly the encouragement I need to continue, thanks very much. Hell, I myself am beginning to feel the suspense. I apologize to all those FMGs that like instant gratification, but I prefer the slow build up myself.
guydaleyParticipantNo doubt, as an expert on drawing stick figures, I do appreciate the time, effort and talent that went into your drawing and most definitely you've got skills.
However that one tiny comment about the hairline is spot on. A woman losing her hair is a sure sign of roid usage or cancer treatment. As much as I like to see physical development in a woman, its disappointing if they resorted to chemicals that twist there sexuality.
