Tulsa doctors juicing up Oklahoma pros Another IFBB name: Trudy Ireland-Kline
New details emerged in the Oklahoma steroids bust that netted an IFBB pro. As often seen, doctors are involved in the distribution and use of the juice.
State drug agents are releasing more information about the arrests of an Oklahoma City firefighter and two Tulsa doctors in a steroid investigation.
Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control spokesman Mark Woodward says 12 arrest warrants have been issued and five people are in custody.
Among those arrested are Oklahoma City firefighter Sherry Smith for using steroids, Tulsa Dr. Brad Stahlheber for possession of steroids and Tulsa Dr. Gary Lee for improperly prescribing steroids.
Woodward says those involved have ties to competitive bodybuilding.
He says several more people have been indicted on federal charges that are currently under seal and more arrests are expected.
This is not a good career move for a physician. (the photo shows Dr. Stahlheber when he was a medical student at OSU Osteopathic school).
It doesn't reflect well on a school to have a recent graduate arrested for illegal drugs. However, most medical schools are lax in providing ethical guidance…often because the professors are lax in ethics (take a look at recent medical news of fabricated research results; trying not to be preachy about all this).
News 6 says that Dr. Lee developed quite a practice with juicing bodybuilders.
Dr. Brad Stahlheber was arrested at Muskogee Community Hospital where he works. Agents say he admitted buying steroids over the Internet and using them for cosmetic reasons.
Dr. Gary Lee faces charges of writing more than 30 steroid prescriptions to a couple of competitive bodybuilders and a power hitter on a national softball team.
And, in Oklahoma City, Darrell Terrell, an amateur bodybuilder who's been featured in national magazines and city firefighter Sherry Smith, both face charges after a search of their home turned up steroids and syringes

And yet one more nationally known bodybuilder who looks less that 'natural'. According to her website, this bodybuilder is only 51. She needed to lighten up on the dose!
A nationally recognized competitive bodybuilder from Tulsa, Trudy Ireland-Kline was out of state and promised to surrender when she returns.
Documents show she admitted using steroids, but said she quit because they were causing heart problems.
We don't believe Ms. Ireland had kicked the PED (steroids) habit at the time of this photo. From her website Ms. Ireland talks about the elements of her success. She forgot the part about anabolic steroids:

Wasn't there someone to help this woman understand she was obviously over-doing the steroids?
